In my down time I came up with some suggestions for OOO, long term ones, discussed them on reddit, and am now posting here. These aren't small little tweaks, but large features that I really think would benefit the game as a whole.

So this is my guide to the betterment of Spiral Knights, if this game is going to be truly successful, let’s be honest; it needs more than clockworks runs and hats.

I. Economy

1. Farming
A. Boss missions should be locked after completion every day like prestige missions
- This prevents excessive farming of the high paying levels, while still having the content available in the clockworks

2. New crown sinks
A. "Gumball machine" (see player housing/furniture[I know this isn't the most popular idea])
- Gashapon style vending machines that dole out random pieces of furniture
- 3 levels, each more expensive than the last, but the more expensive the rarer the furniture received, or maybe the MORE received, like punch(although that would be pointless, you could just use the cheapest one a bunch).

3. Ce sinks
A. Furniture alchemy machine (creates new collectible market)
- Instead of crafting a specific item like gear, you use "theme recipies" where the item you craft is a random piece of furniture of a certain theme, "forest" for example. some pieces are more rare than others

4. Vendor sales
A. Once/twice a month, vendor items are half off (crown purchases only, color changes, 1-3* weapons ect) excludes: brinks, basil, any CE items

5. Promos
A. At least 1 accessory promo and 1 ce sale promo per month
- Steady stream of income for OOO, stable economy for players. Who's complaining?

II. Content

1. Housing
A. This is an MMO, we need more social features than sitting at the fountain in haven
B. Right wing of haven
C. Furniture alchemy machine
D.Similar to "Animal Crossing"
-House layout
-House sizes Availible, divided by ring "upper ring" for larger houses, "outer ring" for basic houses for example
-Other players can visit, not sure on limit

2. Surface exploration (needs more thought)
A. Wilderness, an open area where there are monsters that only drop hearts, you would have to fight your way through them to get to other "havens"

3. CORE
A. It’s best that OOO takes their time on this, it is unquestionably the most important component of SK and needs to be as perfect as possible
B. When implemented, Add major features with a "Core Update"(pun intended) to attract new players while keeping economy stable as this would be a significant content update, there would be a massive influx of crowns.
- Housing would be a prime example, even something like Punch might do, but i can't think of anything.
-Saving content for a big release like this would keep players busy for quite some time, as they can’t do it all at once

4. Sub town roles (needs more thought)
A. More than just scenery

III. Events

1. LD tourneys

2. Stuff like the cake slice hunt

3. Maybe a news channel thing "Breaking news! Tortodrones escaped from the lab!" and that day there would be tortodrones in the clockworks, and we would be rewarded for taking them down.

finally just some current stuff that needs improvement

IV. Things that need work

1. Chat
-custom channels and tabs would be nice

2. LD queue
-The players waiting/playing count is confusing, divide it by Tier
-Form a team
-invite to game

Housing!! -_- We have millions of housing threads.

I already suggested Lockdown tournements like a few months ago. Cake hunt? More details please. News channels? And that might not go well...

Economy

1. LOL, so make people do some low-paying levels before getting to the big stuff like FSC? What is the point? Means FTP players can only run maybe only once A DAY
2. Nope

4. Could work.
5. The people who are sick of seeing accessories ALL THE TIME rather than actual weps/stuff are complaining.

Content
1. NOPE
2. They keep it to clockworks for a reason; energy costs. Need reworking
3. Let the devs handle this
4. Sub towns are Sub towns for a reason, but suggestions welcome

Events
1. Lockdown is not the main part of the game, and why doesn't anyone care about Blast Network? There ARE player-organised LD events for guilds and stuff.
2. Those are events for certain events (eg. SK anniversary), just wait till the date arrives (eg. Halloween, Winterfest)
3. Not sure how would that work out, but till further emphasis, nope

Other stuff that needs work
1. I think chat is good enough on its own. Custom channels might make a bit of a hassle, unless you somehow managed to organise everything into one specific function, though that defeats the purpose of /guild, /zone etc.
2. Suggested before.

imma give my opinion in the form of Owaoforum's reply:

Economy:

1. This does nothing other than annoy players who like their boss levels. It also removes the ability to get boss items quickly.
2. HAHAHAHA
3. WE DON'T NEED CE SINKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THATS WHAT DRIVES THE MARKET PRICE UP!!!!!!!!!
4. Probably won't work because people will buy a lot on those days for half price, then sell when the price is normal and make a huge profit. Too easy.
5. OOO is doing more things than just making promos. They need a new way to fix the economy.

Content:
1. HAHAHAHA, this is the last thing I would want (other than a p2p only system in the game)
2. This involves a complete restructuring of the game. Probably not happening.
3. I agree that the Core should be opened when its ready, but OOO already knows that. Unnecessary suggestion.
4. They do have a purpose......

Events:
1. Too hard to monitor, almost no reason to do it because of guild sponsored events.
2. Those are only for holidays.
3. It's called a prestige mission lol

Things that need work:
1. Not enough to critique
2. Same as above

Kill vana, grab sutff, but dont use elevator! Go to haven thru options menu or restart the game. (or just forget about vaan and go up in the previous elevator, you already farmed enough crowns)

Mission is technically not completed. Problem?

(and by blocking it regardless of true completion, you punish those innocent that legitimately died trying, forcing them to wait to try again and advance)
