Sorry if this makes anybody mad.
I had an idea of a small area of the training hall having pvp enabled.
Since they have nothing else to fight in the hall except for those cubes.

Depends on what you mean

It wouldn't make much sense to have the krogmo class mods. BUT! If they were to introduce an area where we could be creative with the mechanics from super brawl, that would be lovely. A more open area where you could create your own play modes using already existing mechanics.

Though a similar idea has probably been brought up before, the link you sent merely has a similar title. The ideas are different. Monsters=/=People.

Im not trying to be mean, or

Im not trying to be mean, or start a debate. (I could see this somehow turning into a philosophical and economical debate, in which case, I would have to call a friend who doesn't even play this game) But check post 33 and 34 for the suggestion similar to this one instead of reading the topic and first couple of posts that say "good idea! +1".

That is only vaugely similar

That is only vaguely similar, and I don't feel that people should be hijacking others' threads just because their suggestions are in the same vein. Sure, if your suggestion easily builds off of the topic you are posting it in, it makes sense to post in that same thread. And if your suggestion is exactly the same (or very similar) you should go to that thread and read the discussion. If you still think your suggestion could be a good one after reading the discussion, and bump said thread, or if it has gotten off track, make a new one.

Now, for how I feel the suggestions are different; you're right, I didn't read the entire document. That would have taken too much time to be worth it. Rather, I ctrl-f'd the page with about five words that meant PvP or could possibly lead me to a post that was talking about PvP. It was an imprecise method, but it was better than reading a mountain of posts. But, even when you look at those two things - they don't really seem all that related. One suggests that players be allowed to tease each other with weapons - which is already possible with fire vials. This page suggests an area dedicated to PvP. Seems different enough to me, especially when you consider that that was just ONE POST and a response in a thread that was overall about something else.

I wasn't trying to start an argument here, either. You might have gotten mislead by that monsters=/=people thing. I meant that that page mostly suggested that players were supposed to be fighting monsters - while this one was about fighting people.

ok

I definitely see what you mean with the differences in the posts, the other suggests an area where players have infinite health, but can still inflict "damage" or statuses. This one, although a bit more vague, might suggest an area with full-on PvP where players can try to kill each other. The only problem I see in this is people with OP weapons or weapon with a great AoE might completely troll up the place, killing anyone who dares to walk in. When players die, they should be respawned outside the area too.

I cant really decide which concept I like better, but im leaning toward full on PvP so I can duel people and brush up on LD skills.
