Lockdown loadout management is extraordinarily tedious if you have a lot of weapons/armors to swap between. Either or both of the following interface changes will help greatly:

Equipment marking. Allow players to mark individual items instead of loadouts. A player's tier will be determined by the highest star value of all marked equipment. Marked items can then be mixed-and-matched freely in the locker room.

Loadout exclusions. Each individual slot in a loadout can have three different states:
-filled: fills that slot with the indicated item.
-empty: empties the slot.
-excluded: does not affect the slot whether empty or not.
Excluded slots can be used to create a weapon-only loadout, for example...

  • helmet excluded
  • shield excluded
  • armor excluded
  • Gran Faust
  • Valiance
  • Final Flourish
  • Polaris
  • trinket excluded
  • trinket excluded

...which would only affect the weapon slots. It could also be used to create armor-, trinket- or costume-only loadouts. This way, a LD player with 20 different combinations of weapons and 20 of armor would only need 40 different loadouts(as opposed to 400 for one loadout per unique combination of everything).

WANT

I want this. The current method for loadouts and such is broken anyway, you often can't switch mid-match and it's possible to get into a t2 match with t3 stuff despite the system.
