Well, today I was just screwin around today doing some LD, and ran across this Skolver. He has what every pro LD player could ask for! A final flourish, Skolver, Gran Faust, etc. The game begins,(*Note: I only have 4 star equipment.) and we are on opposite teams. I go straight down the middle, as a recon, and meet him in battle. We have a long 1v1, with me coming out on top. I soloed him with my trusty mega-magnus and nothing else. Do you find it embarrassing that he was downed by a mega-magnus? Just thought I would share!^~^ (Sorry, I do not remember this gentleman's name.)
How embarrassing.
I find this a dubious at best case of kool story bro, but fwiw my callahan seems to be the only gun that has ever done much for me in LD so who knows?

Why people think Magnus line isn't good or embarassing to get kills with...
I got 6k dmg with Magnus only in T2 LD (Dun have Callahan to try this in T3 yet)
It's one of the most fun guns to use :L
I know a couple of people who use Callahan excellently. There's no weapon from T3 that's "embarassing" to die from due to the sheer amount of things going on in LD (and not just meaning a big group fight).
Is it embarassing taht I killed dozens of people with Suda charges alone today? 12k+ from Suda dmg:med charges alone. Embarassing? Why; those charges hit for north of 1k and stun. They never stood a chance.
But a Brandish charge death is cool because it hits 1k damage?
Only you define what's "embarassing" to die by, and that's only when you die by it.
Embarassing? Why; those charges hit for north of 1k and stun. They never stood a chance.
Please, do tell me how you got BOTH hits of the charge to deal damage.
Were they (no pun intended) shocked or charging something? Most of the time, the first hit will deal damage and trigger invincibility and the second hit will deal no damage.
I hate invincibility frames in lockdown.
In the week of no-invincibility-frames, Sudaruska easily OHKO'd with its charge.
Maybe also related, but one of the most embarrassing (but for me, hilarious) moments I've seen was this: I was spamming vortex bombs around a point near the enemy base, but thinking nobody would show up, started dropping them while walking away. Just then, 5 of them respawned, left base, and all went straight into the first vortex. I got a Suda charge off of it and some of them got shocked just in time for the second hit and I got a triple kill from that. One of them died in the pull of the second bomb, and the other got away.

I also don't like the magnus line in lockdown because my playstyle needs fluid movement and magnus, with its inability to turn, is counteractive to that. I use iron slug as my sandbag weapon for this reason.
You'd think it'd be biohazard, but I perform better punching people with biohazard than I do trying to shoot them with magnus line lol.
No idea what hits where, I'm a total failure with swordds on all fronts; I was just reconnin' around and chargin' offscreen and launchin' into the first crowds I saw. All I know is that in CW with dmg:med it deals 550+ per hit and those wee damage blocks flooded the CP they were standin' on. Plenty of (double/triple) kills just from that. Didnae think about invinci frames for the second hit tbh, but fact is that gettin' slammed by a Suda in the face tends to leave you somewhere either dead or about to be; ty stun~
Point just was that Suda is an "embarassing" weapon to die from, and I'm a sword reject who can't hit someone with a Glacius, but I can get kills a-plenty with Suda just because it's a scary-ass thing to get hit with. Callahan is the same category; no one takes it seriously until they've been nailed with it.
Indeed.
