Does anyone play T1? It seems like it would be fun, swinging around heavy hatchets and shootin' zappers. But I can't seem to get in a game.

If you don't have double

If you don't have double penta-hearts then you might as well forget about it. I tried to play a game without heart pendants and I was terribly outmatched by people with 4x the amount of health I had...

People do play it, just not as often, weekends seem to be a good time for it.

Ok, I guess I'll try to get

Ok, I guess I'll try to get in this Saturday. But your right, the trinkets probably make a big difference.

What the. . .?

Penta-hearts in T1? No.

@Dvntbjh: You need to unmark your higher star loadouts for PvP.

Btw...

Is it easier to win in T1 LD than in T3? (because the newbies wont have much experience)

Almost certainly.

1. You will barely ever get killed.
2. Everyone will have optimal gear, so no single 'loadout' will be OP; also, you can make any effective loadout between games, if you're fast enough.
3. Half of them are complete newbs, and don't know how to use their stuff.
4. Nobody really understands how OP the Fencing Jacket is in T1...
5. The Static Edge is a) easy to get b), by the sounds of it, really, REALLY annoying.
6. Since none of the weapons do any damage, the Guardian Shield will be super-OP.

The possibilities are endless...

Barely get killed... ehehehehe

Keep a spare all-proto loadout, some people might want a match like that.
The possibilities really are endless. If you can, get an asi med static edge.
Frost Gun can also be annoying if your proc rate is kind to you.
I've seen a Pummel Gun ruin some games... but you really gotta work at it.
Cold Snap and Firecracker are beautiful friends, as is the Static Flash if you have it.

Guardian class is a heck of a pain, but striker and recon can make a game too.

I'll be brutally honest, T1 is where LD has balance... once you actually get some good games going... you'll wonder wth happened to t2 and t3.

Aside from on weekends, watch

Aside from on weekends, watch out for people calling in zone chat for T1 LD games. I have done this many times and, though it can be a bit of a wait, I have always managed to get a game going. (Mostly with T1 LD hardcores, though.)

Heart pendants certainly help, but if you've heated all your T1 gear they are not essential.

Skold and Raisinfist are wise. Listen to them. ^^
