As many of you know SK just came out with the whole new Total war hat promo, and as many of you may know....THERE TOTALLY [freaking] AWESOME!!!.
But there's just one little thing stopping us from owning one...oh yeah we don't play though steam, OR we aren't paying for some game just to get them...and that...that rrreeaallllyyyyyyyyy grinds my gears. That's twice now that SK has released AWESOME content that you can only get though steam and on top of that make it damn hard to get...So why cant there just be fair and at least make some way for us normal knights get the stuff...and I know I get it...there most definitely getting paid for it but I mean come on...well anyways...let me know how you feel about all of this, I'd like to hear others opinions on the matter- Vergilios out.

I'll keep saying it. It's a super awesome....... useless fancy costume.
As long as they dont release actually usefull armor or weapons (pay to win) I dont care.

Buy them from another player, or on the AH.

We did have that, it was called "Operation Crimson Hammer" until they nerfed the weapons a few notches after loads of complaints.

I understand it's a bit
I understand it's a bit frustrating but It's a steam promo event for total war games, the purpose of it is to get people to buy those games. if they made a way for you to obtain them with out somebody purchasing those games then many people wouldn't and that would defeat the purpose of there plan.
As Yukarie said though you can make a steam account and buy those games or buy them from people who have bought those games. =)

If you want the hat badly enough, just pay the £1 for that and consider that you get a free game with it to try out. Or buy it in game with cr/ce off of someone else. You're not getting it for free either way, so it really just depends which currency you'd like to buy it with~
Are you upset that you cannot obtain the items even if you wanted to buy the total war games?
1) Download Steam
2) Buy Total war games
3) Download Spiral knights on Steam
4) Pick up items you get for free and realize that they're all unbound
5) Compose a mail to yourself with the items attached
6) ???
7) Profit
