128 was probably cool in 2005/2006 when SK got started, but it's 2012, even an iPhone has enough hardware for bigger textures.

You expect the SK art team, 2 people, to reskin every item in the game?
I completely agree. All of this low resolution versus the new content of items and such is really beginning to stick out. Trust me, if they fix that it will really give the game a better vibe.

I suppose Ian was wise enough to make his textures in 256 or 512 or 1024 and has downscaled them to 128 for compression reasons.
Even if he didn't, upscaling shouldn't be that hard, you duplicate the size and repaint the edges so the don't look blurry.
There is probably an algorithm that already does that automatically somewhere by doing a vector conversion first then some interpolation, or some mathematical shenanigans like that.
