Hello people, I've had this suggestion in my mind for a while. I've just thought posting it would be pointless because I think everyone would disagree with it but now I'm gonna express my opinion. I think on this game that you should be able to design your weapons like change the color of them or add small accessories. When you edit your weapons though you actually edit the symbol not the weapon. If you don't get what I mean by symbol, here's an example of Calibur, Tempered Calibur, Ascended Caibur, or Leviathan Blade's symbol: http://wiki.spiralknights.com/images/thumb/5/5a/Equipment-Tempered_Calib...

But there are rules while doing this:
1. If a higher star version of a weapon has a different symbol than the weapon you are trying to design and you try painting the weapon the same colour as that then it won't allow you to. (ex:If you tried painting a Tempered Calibur the same colour as a Cold Iron Carver but if you have an Ascended Calibur, since it's the same star level Cold Iron Carver you may paint it like that.)
2.If you try painting a different type of weapon that's the same colour as a higher star version of your weapon you try to paint then you can't do that. (ex: If you try painting a Flourish the same colour as a Blaster or Blast Bomb, then you can't do that because it would look like a Final Flourish or Grand Flourish).

With accessories, like they do with armour they take parts from armour and make them accessories for you to have them alone. (ex:Divine Halo comes from Divine Veil.) If you wanted your Blaster to have a wing, you'd need a Silversix wing accessory.You can get a weapon designer from Vatel for 60,000 crowns (instead of 50,000) and I'm not sure if I want it to be destroyed once used but yeah...

There will be weapons listed for you to paint it and depending on what star it is, it'll cost a certain amount of crowns/energy(Three Ring's choice) but if you have the weapon you want to paint something like another weapon for free then you have to have that weapon in your arsenal already (ex: If I wanted to paint a Blaster like a Cold Iron Carver for free, then I would need a Cold Iron Carver).

I feel like I explained this badly but yeah, this is my suggestion a weapon designer.

Also if a weapon has different versions of it in other colours, then you can't change the colour (ex: Elemental brandishes).

They cant 'take parts' from everything. The halo is separated from the veil. Silversix is a single model.

I don't agree with this idea

If you want to change the color of your weapons, it should not be added to the game. Let's say I have a DA. I change it into the color of the GF. Then people will say "WTF? How did you get a GF with 3 charge attacks? Lucky you."

Some items are seperated too! Now I'm not saying that this idea is horrible. I'm saying that it could cause... madness or something..

That's what one of the rules are pretty much. I should've explained it better but you can't change the colour of your weapon to another colour of a sword that looks exactly like it except for the colours.

Well I have another law

Change law number 2 and make it like this:

2) If you try to make the weapon exactly like the other weapons, you are not allowed to as it will cause abuse because people will ask "WTF? How did you get a faust with 3 charge attacks?" So there should be a approval system where you can make it. If you try to copy it, you will be refunded with your crowns and your weapon will not be changed

Unbinding accessory from weapons fee: 100k
Putting on accessories: 20k

-10k for painting
-Free for accessories
-10k for Changing it depending on the weapon.

It should always be free just like putting accessories on your knight.

For adding colors to weapons I would say only allow recoloring on certain minor parts, like the one of the two outer purple hologram blades on GFaust or the hilt on element Brandishes. Nothing too confusing but allows a personal touch on your favorite clone w- I mean normal weapons.

No messing with equipment models.

I thought you were like Spiral Spy himself and designed a weapon editor for us to use. With better instructions on how to install.
Anyway, like you saw above, you wont be the only who will be trolling, with Purple GA or Ice colored Shock Brandish to confuse the SKolvers!

Fine... new rule: You can't

Fine... new rule: You can't change the colour of weapons that have different versions of them in different colours already. For example... Brandishes, you can't colour them because it would be confusing.
