you know how monsters are immune to traps (spikes, ice floors, etc) right
well to my eyes its just not right and it makes ni sense too
i dont see them having special skin that protects them from the traps
and i guess some monsters can fly over them but lets focus on the ones who cant
monster immune to traps
But it would be so hilarious. An army of zombies igniting themselves in FSC...or a Trojan lighting on fire.
Better yet, the Slag Guardians in Vanaduke's room killing themselves on Vanaduke's fire plots.
Ah, the imaginations themselves are priceless.

Monsters live in arcade, its know all about traps... and thats how they dont have trap damage.
Also, they have status immunity on themed floors. They wouldn't be hit anyway.
I was actually thinking of the opposite. Status traps would heal status enemies or give random buffs/attacks (charged quicksilvers)
Ice traps would form a layer of ice on top of enemies acting as armor.
Shock would make them move faster.
If you want to damage them, at least remove shield bumps. Thats too easy.
This actually got me thinking. And before I start I'd just like to say that monsters should be immune.
Anyway, how about a room with a new enemy that can only be damaged by leading them into traps. It would difficult and fun. Perhaps in the next danger mission.
Monsters are generally immune to statuses, unless those statuses have a positive impact on them.
Exceptional sources are:
- Knight weapons and vials (of course; assorted statuses)
- Trojan farts and smashes (shock and stun respectively)
- Lumber smashes (I have never noted the lumber's status being inflicted; stun)
- Ice cube patches (which also ignore knight shields; freeze)
- Mecha knight derps (shock)
- Rocket puppy rocket explosions (fire)
- Supercharged quicksilvers (shock)
They can also suffer from 'friendly' damage; it is possible for a Trojan to kill a Blast Cube by smashing its massive meat cleaver down on it, for example. I suspect that the Blast Cube suffers shadow damage from this attack, but I'm not entirely sure since I wasn't paying that much attention to the damage colours produced. A Lumber may be able to kill another monster, but I've never left them alive for long enough to actually find out.
If they took damage from traps, the game would be far too easy. They'd just herpderp themselves to death all the time.
