A small idea that would allow you to switch between costume sets you've made quickly, without changing your actual armor and weps. Your normal loadouts and costume loadouts would be sub-categorized to avoid confusion.
Costume Loadouts
@ Pvt-Tankbusta
I think you're getting it wrong...
People like to create a number of consistent costumes for looks, regardless of what actual armors are used underneath.
e.g. I design sets of costumes for my knight:
a. Spiral Tailed Helm + Spiral Culet
b. Valkyrie Helm + Vita Suit Deluxe
c. Divine Veil + Skolver Coat
d. Crown of the Fallen + Divine Mantle
I also have 10+ sets of armors for different combat situations.
1. Bombing in FSC
2. Gunning in FSC
3. Bombing in RJP
4. Sword in RJP
5. DBB + Mad Bomber for blasting beasts in Wolver Dens
6. etc.
The problem is a loadout includes everything. Armor, weapon, trinket, and costumes.
Loadout 1. maybe saved with costume c. If I want to use costume d. instead, I will have to manually equip the d. costume armors. That's a minor inconvenience in changing costumes.
Now say if my knight likes to have a single consistent look. But I recently changed from costume a. to b. In the current system I have to open up all my loadouts and update their costume slots one by one. That's a major inconvenience.
What Jrhuman asked for is a separation of costume slots. e.g. When you save a loadout, you can save the actual equipments as a loadout, and/or save the costume slots.
The implementation could be an additional item in the dropdown list called "Save as Costume Loadout". Costume loadout includes the two costume slots only, and can be applied over normal loadouts.
E.g. You can equip loadout 1. and then apply costume b. on top of it.
I thought of this last night and was a tad too shy to post here. I'd love it, since I have like... 20 costumes I like to switch between, but only about four gear sets I like to use. I use a costume to fit the mood and gear to fit the area I'm taking on.
[This would be even better if they could implement shield costumes!]
I would love to do this. I should be able to switch my costume without switching (or removing) my weapons.
Costume loadout patch? xD Of all the frivolous things we ask for... Yes, please! Why not!
The way SK deals with costumes is a pain. The loadouts for costumes should be separated, as well as equipping methods. If you chose to have your main armor equipped as a costume, rather than un-equipping the costume, you'd have to equip that armor to costume. This makes costumes and regular armor totally separate so you don't have any silliness with dragging your main armor to the costume slot.
If they actually listen to threads in this forum, I'll give this a +1
Nick does browse this forum from time to time, as can be seen here.
its called alphabetically naming them
example:
Costume: A
Costume: B
or just name the costumes u put in that loadout cus theres only 2 items in a costume set.. (accessories dont count)
