One thing that I cant help but think is kinda silly - I think every compartment on the prize wheel should have a different item. Under many circumstances I have watched two consecutive prize wheel compartments have the same reward (usually crowns), and while I'm not complaining, I think it would just feel a little bit more like a fun end-of-level roulette if every prize in the wheel was different. Thanks!
Regarding the Prize Wheel
Fill the other compartments with 50 crowns and 5* items and mats, and when it stops on 5 crowns there will be much crying and ragequit.
while that may be true, my suggestion still stands. Duplicate prizes showing up in a prize wheel animation may only be a visual disappointment, but since I don't know how the prize wheel actually works there's no way for me to know what the odds are for me to get 1 prize over another. Seeing multiples of the same prize further distorts any assumptions regarding odds of prizes, and hence my suggestion of them tightening the random generator algorithm.
It's not high on the priority list, but this is a forum where we can give suggestions and I fail to see how this is a bad idea as it does not affect the actual game play in any way.
It's not a bad idea, but it should be the LOWEST on the priority list. Honestly, this should only be worked on if there's absolutely nothing else the developers can work. You have a random chance of getting an item, which is immediately put in your inventory. That is how the prize wheel works. All the other slots are just generated with the same algorithm. The same RANDOM algorithm. You suggesting there be no repeats or few repeats would make it pseudo random, which isn't cool.
"this is a forum where we can give suggestions"
Suggesting not to do your idea is a suggestion too. SUGGESTCEPTION
"as it does not affect the actual game play in any way."
Looking ugly and duplicated doesnt do any harm on actual gameplay either.
When you step on the elevator, your prize wheel prize is instantly selected and awarded. All of those "compartments" are just randomly generated for the animation to make it look exciting.
