This is something that really needs to be considered with patches. As a programmer myself, quality control is extremely important before shipping out the final product. I won't worry about saying the reasons why as they are known, but this last patch with the Guild Hall update irked me. It bothers me that something as so simple and obvious as the entrance to the Guild Hall from the Garrison be as terribly bugged as it is. I try to walk it, and the game crashes. I log in just for it to crash again because I'm still in the same spot. It's hard as a customer of this game to have much trust on the rest of the game for something so obvious to be missed. As a programmer, it irks me because of how such an important chunk of code wasn't reviewed better. Honestly, this bug should be fixed sooner once it was discovered due to how many people would find themselves in this situation. For something so game breaking, more immediate fixes have been done in the past. Quality control really needs to be considered.
Quality Control
Agreed, also, I think that if a chair is going to take about 1 2/5 of a FSC run, iit should have lower prices, cause theres only two ways here: either give more cr....which will raise ce price (curse all of you bureaucratic conspirators), or just lowering the price of the chair itself. I know its a great opportunity for OOO to make profit....but even the most rich people would see this as bits of cr sink in their wallets growing and growing into a massive black hole that eats everyone's cr....which leads me to upkeep. if theres 50 members in a guild (w/o upgrades...I think) such as mine, the cost is already 25000 cr, so 25000/50=500. it seems all reasonable and stuff but this forces everyone in the guild to remove any non-active members and run FSC lots in order to keep upkeep while buying upgrades, furniture and to support their crafting needs, and because this is w/ 0 upgrades (I think) more upgrades would probably mean more cost (from what I've heard). In the end, im wondering, would we have to run FSC twice a week ( a major damage for non EP users) just to keep the guild up?
Hear hear! I used to have EP, then when I bought my latest one, I accidentally purchased for my secondary account, which is consisted of noob 2* armor (no offense to any of u) so it is rendered useless, since I planned to run FSC a lot with it. I have not even considered buying any furniture, as it costs WAY too much! I think there should be a dramatic price drop.
i don't think that's gonna happen sense the high prices makes pay to play players buy ce which is then fed into the market dropping the ce prices. so if you think three rings is gonna do something that will make it lose even 1 cent of its income, then i may as well create a cardboard space suit claiming I'm buzz light year. "something something and beyond" NEVER will happen!
To add on to that, purchasing expansions to the guild hall and for nothing to appear, I can't even really put words together to describe that. Something that is so public in regards to coding being so buggy at launch is very upsetting. To me, is not professional and is usually a product killer.
