I know this may sound kinda silly but come on! Getting a award chest each can be a pretty cool idea. The chest itself can have a random item like a token, materials, sometimes a random accessory that match the style you chose when you first started in the game.
(Cool, Heavy, toasty) What do you guys think?

Which is why the devs can set it up so that you have to have been an active player/member/user/etc. for 30 days or more (non-consecutive) before you're allowed to receive "daily reward chests". >_> <_< >_>

Or limit it to knights that have access to Haven at the point in time when the mail is sent out. After all, it's not like it's safe/sane to send mail to the rescue camp or crash site.

It's still easy to level charaters up to haven and log them on every day, leaving them idle. Sooner or later the work will pay itself.
The only option is to give untradeable unsellable bound stuff so you cant get any profit in any way.
Like the current Honor blades. I collected 9 of them :P and they'll rot on my alts inventories.

Well...
I agree on this halfway. What they could do is the same way as mist. I noticed that when switching accounts (don't ask) that the mist energy is still depleted. What if you could only get a prize once a month when you login to a character. And, the character you login to has that item and is bound (depending on what the item is).

No!
What I mean is that the game knows you are accessing multiple accounts in one computer. When it knows you do that, you only get one daily in that computer, making it difficult for people to get free stuff. If there is some way that it can be bypassed, make it bound.
