OOO released a image showing there crew for the new missions update.

So far we can Identify them all but one, that one is to the far right.
He appears to be wearing one of the Kat hats with a dapper combo and mecha wings.
So who do you guys think he is and do you think he may have something to do with the lab update?

Could have sworn I saw him unexpectantly at the end of one of the T3 missions.
I found him in the files one day (when the missions first came out) and asked where he was, but no-one could tell me :/

I'm interested in Vaelyn dual-wielding as I would like to use a sword and gun at the same time.
But a knight wearing a Game Maker helmet with a different colour is strange.

By now I think it's safe to say his name in the files, but we have no idea what he does.
It could relate to the coming lab update but he doesn't really look like he belongs in a lab.
What would be nice is if they find a way to bring him into a bigger part of the SK story.
Such as a lone traveler who's found his way into haven or an old leader who was declared lost/dead.
What ever it is......I hope it's worth the wait.
Why is it that Barrus is allowed to have a scarf on his chap while we aren't? Has nobody noticed this little detail either?
I've always suspected that mystery NPC was actually captain Ozlo, since the appearance looks closely more in line with a captain, or a captain of a ship. Who knows.
Actually, this mysterious NPC is featured on the Spiral Knights official website, under trailers and screenies. There are some shots of him playing, etc.
It's a hat used by Game Makers. That's what I'm concerned about. I thought it was either purple or white, not brown.
And GASP! IT'S ANOTHER NPC WITH ORANGE EYE COLOUR!

I dunno, guy looks like he's huffed a pretty serious quantity of mercury fumes in his time.
Boswick wore the purple Kat Hat, which I have not been able to secure the name of to this day. The Purring cap was available in the beta, it is white, but it still exists in game, (someone managed to get a picture of Clotho wearing it) it just isn't available to players.
The brown ones were in preview videos, but didn't end up being released. I have a list of most the Kat Hat names, but I can't put them in public space because it's a spoiler.
Maybe he could be some experiment from the lab, like a knight enhanced through science.
You're more concerned about an unusual fashion over the Knight that's dual-wielding?
