Simple idea, what is in every pvp game, why it shouldn't be there???
Kills, and deaths counter on aftermatch ranking: Lockdown
Because the skolver clones would whine about AA and other sh1t
Kills are more relevant in other games like FPSs. Lockdown is based on capping points.
If anything the damage counter should be taken out of Lockdown because it serves no helpful purpose. Defenses are relevant to capping. Captures are capping.
The only thing worth putting in extra is "decaps", because recon decappers get berated for having few/no caps/defends and low damage, despite spending the entire match preventing the enemy team summing any points. Damage, as Luggy says, serves no purpose on the scoreboard other than to feed irrelevant egos.
I don't get why skolvers whining about AA shuold encourage wanting more pointless score boards :s...
+1 I don't even play lock down and I think this is a good idea. Who knows maybe I'd start playing if it did.

We have issue enough with damage, we don't need to see who can get a longer killstreak.
Sometimes I forget that some people still remember LD is about Caps.

Usually I just focus on getting a ton of damage. Today I just started capping. It seems pointless though because people measure skill much more by damage instead of caps and defends.

Because most of them are idiots trying to prove how great they are by killing snoop instead of capping for their team.
'Course, there are some who only check their damage as an indicator of how much damage they're doing in battle as opposed to just showing off, which I find just fine.
I do like to check my damage (when I roll a dps loadout) but I tend to feel that if I did nothing else during the match but damage that I was only partially useful, especially if we happened to lose; then I'd blame myself. I like to have at least a few caps/defends on top of my damage, and the knowledge that I spent some time decapping (if I rolled recon).
Let me tell you about a guy whose name starts with T.
ASI Max! Glacius, Skolver Clone, he's decked out. Always gets 18k+ damage a game.
Problem is, he loses some of his games even when the opposing team has far less damage because he usually has 0~2 caps. He was on my team one time, and the opposing team had an average of like 6k damage a person. With him on our team, ours was more like 10k a person. We lost.

Similar - Skolver, ASI Max! Glacius, I believe he also uses an ASI VH GF though he usually sticks to Glacius. Doesn't generally use a toothpick.

I know who you're talking about, but I honestly don't see him as altogether dififerent from any other Clone out there, tbh. Not many of them actually put much effort into anythin' other than damage.
Because having damage alone encourages people to focus on killing instead of winning...having a K:D ratio would just worsen that so, so much....
