New Monster: Possessed Knight
Family: Fiend
Status(es): Curse

there are four types of possessed knights you can fight

Possessed Swordsman
Possessed Gunslinger
Possessed Bomber
Possessed Defender

Possessed Swordsmen use a shadow calibur and wear cobalt armor for t1, solid cobalt for tier 2, and azure guardian for tier 3

it turns into a tempered calibur for tier 2 and a leviathan blade for tier 3, they also have defenders, great defenders, and aegises but don't rely that much on defense

you probably think that since they're swordsmen it would make since for them to wear wolver but since possessed swordsmen are possessed knights of spiral order they wear something similar to the lines of cobalt

Possessed Gunslingers use a shadow blaster, they actually wear gunslinger sets instead of cobalt because they're not like a spiral order npc, they're just a wanderer of the spiral order, they use a shadow blaster and a gunslinger set in tier 1, they use a shadow super blaster and sunset set, and for tier 3 they use valiances with shadowsun sets

Possessed Bombers use a shadow blast bomb and wear spiral demo for tier 1, they use a shadow super blast bomb and wear fused demo for tier 2, and they wear bombastic demo and nitronomes for tier 3

Possessed Defenders wear spiral plate sets and plate shields for tier 1, they use boosted plate sets and boosted plate shields for tier 2, and for tier 3 they have ironmight plate sets and ironmight plate shields for tier 3

they can still hurts you with a shield bump but they rely more of defense and they can guard other monsters

everytime you kill a possessed knight they turn into a regular knight and faint on the ground, you can revive possessed knights once you kill them and they'll be on your side

the end

Gunner

Gunslinger*

Evil knights have been suggested before but to give you positive feedback I can say that this is the most creative evil knight thread yet.

No reviving. Otherwise, ok. Except AI's don't understand how to gun or bomb or shield bump.

well i understand what you

well i understand what you mean by them being unable to gun but bomb could work because gremlins use bombs and trojans use shields but they dont bump you so i guess the defenders can just be a shield for other monsters instead of shield bumping

what could i do to fix the gun problem?

reviving price

i think that if you had the ability to revive them, then there should be a ce price, not very fair if you start amassing an army.

@nunncitrus it would cost ten

@nunncitrus

it would cost ten energy

thats twice the mecha knight price

its also the elevator price but you dont have to revive them if you dont wish to but klipik suggests that i dont add reviving

@Quakeman

Your argument is invalid. Gunner actually has it's own definition and it doesn't mean gunslinger. Grenadier is actually synonymous to bomber.

Enjoy.

The bombing would have to be reworked a bit, because Gremlin Demos don't need to charge their bombs.

For the gunning, you could give them slow guns like pulsars, but I'm not sure what else. It'd be pretty hard to program an AI that knew how to lead targets. Then again, there are devilites... So maybe.

If you want to have reviving, then you have to be careful not to put too many of these guys in the same place.

what if i created a story

what if i created a story line of them turning evil and it wasnt from any creatures but it could've been from a dark substance so they get mutated and turn evil but still have the abilities of a knight then it could make sense

Well, it says in the OP that they're cursed. So, you would have to explain that. Also, "mysterious magical dark substance thingy" doesn't count as an explanation.

possessed knights are knights that got attacked by phantoms but when the curse started to affect them it circulate through their mist tank inside their body and they turned evil

Grenadier could be synonymous to gunslinger but gunner isn't so your argument is still invalid and my corrections are proper.

The reason why I figured that grenadier was synonymous to bombs because Nitronome's description says "An advanced explosive issued to only the most elite Spiral Knight grenadiers." and Nitronome is a bomb.

Even if it's synonymous for gunslinger your argument's still not valid.

This also says a couple of things.

Look at definition one.

maybe gunner is not the right

maybe gunner is not the right definition ... but im still prettry sure using gunner to define a gunslinger and everyone will understand what i mean .. especialy since gunner mean gunslinger in french ... so this is the first link i did to gunner to gunslinger in my translation process so it will take me time before when i have to quickly say gunslinger in a phrase ill actualy use gunslinger ... and for sure i aint gonna use grenadier even tho the fact it mean the same thing to OOO

I just translated gunslinger in French and gunslinger in French is still gunslinger. Not gunner.

I'd say Undead. Not that we

I'd say Undead. Not that we are undead, or even flesh for that matter, but just that the possessed knights need to be shadow resistant (like evil stuff) and elemental weak (like constructs).

Seriously guys ?! Just

Seriously guys ?! Just because this idea sounds awesumz & looks hot, doesn't mean it is good.

Why I am saying that ? Ok do the following :

1:Wait for the Daily Prestige mission ( Scared to death or the devilite one ).

2:While in the mission, you can free 1-2 knights and they will follow you.

3:Observe them how do they fight.

4:Realize that they are stupid and even weaker than Baby Gremlins.

This suggestion won't work because of the AI. Make the AI more intelligent and THINKING, then we can talk about knights mob...

...

I said that already.

New Idea

Make the knights not have a family, but rather have weaknesses and resistances based on the armor they're wearing.

Relation

This is like the Ing from MP2 possessing light world creatures and turning them into darklings. Getting back to this topic, I don't think this would be a good choice of a new monster for the game because there are no known reasons for them becoming possessed. Technically we are fighting former knights (Trojans).

Well um, "Possessed Knights" are kinda like Mecha Knights don't you think? Besides, it is thought that (according to the wiki) Trojans are basically possessed Knights, take Arkus for an example.

if trojans are possessed knights, then the only explanation is that they were a)all wearing guardian armor AND b) have been around so long that they petrified, OR they were possessed horse-people.

And anyways, more trojans with different attack mechanics? I would +1 that if there was a thread for it, too.
