New Trinkets

We all know Trinkets have some generic boosts. Defense, resistance, HP, ASI, DMG, and CTR are all found on armor and helmets anyway. This suggestion attempts to add some unique trinkets.

TRACKING SCRAMBLER
A special trinket for niche cases, good to bring into Construct arenas. The Tracking Scrambler fudges with the homing abilities of Rocket Puppies and Howlitzers. A Puppy Rocket or Howlitzer Head aimed at you will act as if it were Tier One. The Tracking Scrambler also slows the turn speed of enemies aiming at you while they are attacking, making it handy for Greavers, Devilites, and the Snarbolax. There is no benefit for two Tracking Scramblers.

WEIGHTED GAUNTLET
This trinket gives your attacks more stopping power. The effect is applied more readily to Charge Attacks (including Bombs), two-swing Swords (especially the Troika line), and two-shot Guns (excluding the Blitz). Many fast weapons, like the Flourish, Polaris, and Blitz, will barely notice the effect. The effects of two Weighted Gauntlets stack. Now break out that Suda and start interrupting things.

POWER RAMP
With this equipped, your damage on all standard attacks is lowered by 5%- but only on the first swing or shot. Each successive swing or shot (an actual shot, this doesn't apply to the Blitz) will have 5% more damage. This amounts to a 20% boost on Cutters' final swings and a 25% boost on Antiguas' sixth shots. Having another one will double all of its effects, making the Antiguas especially competitive.

BARRIER BANNER
The Barrier Banner works with certain armor types to distribute a defensive buff to your team. If you are wearing Cobalt, the Barrier Banner will add a significant amount of Normal Defense to your entire team. With Jelly, the Banner adds Piercing; with Magic/Grey Feather, the Banner adds Elemental; with Skelly, the Banner adds Shadow; with Plate, the Banner adds every type of defense (though in a smaller amount). Only one of each Banner effect can be active at once. Anything else? No dice; this only works with defensive armor. Okay, I copied this from Luguiru, but, still.

SPEC SCOPE
You know those lame Damage Bonus Vs. Family bonuses? The Spec Scope makes them cool. For every point of Damage Bonus versus a specific Monster family (any standard damage bonus, like from Skolver, will not count), the Spec Scope begins adding an extra effect to attacks with Normal-damage weapons and with special-damage weapons that come with Damage Vs. Family (like the Sun Shards and Sentenza). These effects are as follows:

-SLIMES are hit with Chromatic Salt, which does two things. One, it weakens the damage and status doled out by the Oil, Freeze Field, and Supercharge abilities of Oilers, Ice Cubes, and Quicksilvers, respectively. Two, it gets paint all over the Slime's thorns that telegraphs Spike and Thorn Root attacks of all kinds. (Paint will appear where spikes or roots will come out, making it easier to tell where to dodge.) This effect lasts one second for each level of Slime damage bonus.

-BEASTS have a chance of being hit with Flight Instinct, which causes them to do nothing except hide in corners. This effect lasts one second for each level of Beast damage bonus, but after it wears off, it cannot be inflicted on the same target for six seconds.

-CONSTRUCTS have a chance of being hit with Command Loop, which causes them to keep moving in the same direction using the same attack, without turning, for a second per level of Construct damage bonus. Once it wears off, it cannot be inflicted on the same target for six seconds.

-GREMLINS are hit with Reflex Inaction, which limits their dodge to one space for one second per level of Gremlin damage bonus.

-UNDEAD have a chance of being hit with Peace, which cuts their movement speed in half and, if they are killed, prevents them from being revived by Totems or Deadnaughts. This effect lasts for one second per level of Undead damage bonus.

-FIENDS are hit with Judgement, which places an aura of light around their heads for a third of a second per level of Fiend damage bonus. If they attack while affected by Judgement, or are affected by Judgement in the middle of an attack, they will be hit by a blast of light that deals the approximate damage of a tier-level Blast Bomb. This blast of light is capable of interrupting Greavers.

An Undead VH Nitro or a Construct VH Pepperbox (or a Construct H or VH Heavy Decon) might be really handy!

Hopefully I didn't make any of these so overpowered they would make everything else obsolete. Comments? Compliments? Scathing rebukes?

I can see what you were trying to do with Tracking Scrambler but it takes away one of the few difficulties in this game. Maybe if it had a big penalty and only worked at certain times, like when you shield but while the trinket effect is going your shield has blank stats with a cooldown of >20 seconds between uses. Using two decreases the cooldown between uses but does not affect the complete defense loss for your shield while preventing enemies from using tracking attacks.

Weighted Gauntlet improves interruption based on what the weapon already has but more so for certain weapons? Why not just buff those certain weapons? This would effect Sealed lines just as much as Troikas, but what if we gave Troika immunity to being interrupted while swinging instead of making this trinket that gives GFausts and DAvengers just as much interruption as the "defensive sword"? How about simply giving Magnus lines more interruption power even while dealing neutral damage to a target?

Power Ramp sounds awfully familiar.

This comment has been removed before being posted because it only contains loud vomiting noises.

Spec Scope should be broken into six family specific trinkets since they each have huge effects. The slime one is fine, the beast one is unnecessary until the whole family gets buffed since they basically already do its effect, the construct one could use a few more seconds on its cooldown, the gremlin one is fine, undead is fine, and the fiend one can be simplified to only inflicting stun and removing the damage part since stun is great against fiends.
