I've been thinking about doing Legion of Almire to get some crowns, but in the videos I've seen of the mission, everybody is wearing 5 star gear,
So, does that mean it's a five star mission?
Are Danger Missions 5 star missions?

Depending on rank, it's either t3 or 2

They adjust to your rank, but were tought as a challange for top playes. Thye are supposed to be dangerous after all.

As others have said, danger missions change by tier. In Tier 3 they can be tough. But you should give one a try, even if you have only 4-star gear. The worst that will happen is that you'll spend 10 or 20 energy, earn a little money, have a fun challenge, and get a better idea of how to equip yourself in the future.

Look at the prestige reward...
Only tier 2 and 3 will be able to play danger missions.
Besides from looking at your rank, looking at the prestige reward also tells if it's T2 or T3 (180 prestige points for T3)

strategy, strategy, strategy
Having 5 star gear wont give you all you need on danger missions. Each one requires some strategy on each stage and good team (well you can do solo if you're skilled), otherwise you will be paying energy for revs.
For Compound42 take gear with max fire so you wont be cought on fire from jellys (for example dual vog with minimum 2*low or one medium fire resist), and shadow weapons.
For Legion of Almire you need only shadow protection and elemental weapons (some crowd control bombs like freeze or stun and poison is nice but not needed)
Heart of Ice is worst i think, the trick is to not get hit, block every fiend attack), get piercing weapons, some use fire version of brandish as second. Skelly/Skolver/Snarbolax pieces are best, take 2of shadow prot or 1-1 shadow/piercing.
Ghost of Machine is fun, just take elemental weapons and some shadow/elemental protection gear with shock res like on compound and you can do it solo if you know the strategy.

Tier2 is easier and you'll need maybe half of this gear but tier3 is different. Best way to learn strategy is to watch some gameplays on youtube.
the ppls in the vid are doing T3 LoA, and wearing 4 star armor can be challenging. But you can still do it T2 and T1(I think T1 not sure)
