Now the UI has had enough flack as it is, just have a look at the topics it has brought up.
But one thing we're all thinking is wrong is the new names: they look... bad.
A few flaws in logic when the new "Colour coded names," were thought up.
Firstly: Colours. SK was attracting people because it was bright and colourful. White names for everyone in haven when you're new isn't very aesthetically pleasing now, compared to the rainbows we once had (and if GMs get purple names, they are contradicting their own implemented feature, if they don't what newbie will believe they're GMs)
Secondly: Ranking. Have I ever, ever, in my whole SK life thought, "Hmm, what rank is that person?" NOT ONCE.
This is just unnecessary clutter on the screen.
Thirdly: The logic behind the colours. Surely, if someone is in your guild, you will be able to tell from the GIANT GUILD NAME ABOVE THEIR HEAD, and so don't need a special colour, and the same applies to friends: If you have a friend standing next to you, YOU SHOULD KNOW WHO THEY ARE, you're meant to be friends. . .
Another rant. Sleepy time now.
Still hoping this entire update is an april fools joke.
Game looks like it was put together with powerpoint. I have yet to find one useful thing this update has provided.
Function over form? Form over function? Not even. Both were slaughtered.
