This is just my personal opinion on this matter, save your raging for some other knight who just might care about your opinion.

With a quick look at this UI I found myself stupified and lost. After a few minutes of finding everything and taking note of the new position of tabs and such I find that it's not too bad of an idea. The feature to hide the buttons by sliding them off the screen is a good idea. This new minimap showing everyone the same color except for friends and guild members is another good idea. However, it would be nice to change the look of people who do not show up in your social tab to a better color than the (blue?) color it is now. This new skinning of vials and confetti and such would be nice, if it didn't make other items in your arsenal stick out. I'd suggest revamping item pictures as well to match this new UI.

Not being able to see your crowns or ce at any time without the arsenal tab up is annoying to me (and i'm sure to many others). With all the consolidating OOO has done for hiding buttons and saving screen space, it conflicts against this wallet viewing feature. The shield bar being obnoxiously huge all the time while at haven (at least for being 5*) sticks out way too far, and besides, can we even shield in haven? It's a great idea for in the clockworks but for in haven i believe it could do without. The new position of health isn't all too bad, it's alright looking when you get some vita pods and expand the health bar to match your shield bar. Being able to zoom in at yourself any time is handy, although i really won't be using it much. Health bars underneath monsters is a fine addition, I very much like it the best out of anything that came from this update. The reskinning of tabs and windows is nice, but in the same sense of the new vials and confetti it makes equipment and other items stand out.

I believe this is all I can scrounge up for the time being, feel free to suggest about my suggestions and what-not.

Edit: Please keep feedback in the release discussion thread. Thanks!
