Boss idea: Epialitzer

A Roarmulus twins-sized Howlitzer, the Epialitzer is more like three Megalitzers (Howlitzers that are slightly larger than normal, and look like triceratops skulls with a neckbone) bound together, and belongs to the undead family. In other words: three bodies, three heads, and huge amount of mass.

The graveyard like levels would only include: Zombies, Bombies^, Howlitzers, Dark shankles^, Dreadnaughts^ (Only on in battles started with party buttons), Lost Souls and Greavers (^ = maybe), and the levels are called Triceratops Crypt: Rhino Rampage, Graveyard Guns and Shadowy Tomb (The boss; OOO can add more levels if they want).

The boss is the Epialitzer, accompanied by four Megalitzers. A picture of the battlefield is here: Epialitzer arena.dat

Created in Spiral Spy, credit to Super-Ratman for uploading the picture for me.

Attacks: Phase 1

Shoot huge bullet
Summon Megalitzers
Send a shock wave that damages knights who don't put up their shield in time, and instantly makes the Megalitzers enter kamikaze mode (Skull rockets).
Shoot 6 kamikaze Megalitzer skulls (two from each head, 2 x 3 = 6)

Phase 1 strategy: the Epialitzer can only be damaged by its own bullet, so knights must destroy the bullet, shooting a spray back at it, and damaging the the Epialitzer. However, the bullet can only be damaged until its about to hit the wall, at which point, the bullet explodes. If a Megalitzer shoots the huge bullet, the bullet will regenerate some health (3-7 per bullet) and be knocked back slightly at the Epialitzer, giving you more time to kill the bullet (No the bullet cannot explode in the Epialitzers face, and the bullet takes the same damage from all damage types). The Megalitzers fire four bullets, like so: T When this is repeated about five times, the Epialitzer will enter Phase 2, and there will then be the three Epialitzer skulls chasing players around the room.

Attacks: Phase 2

Charge at one of the knights (like a Tier 1 Howlitzer would, cannot turn or stop until it hits a wall, when it will pause for 5 seconds, giving players a chance to damage them, then the head will charge again)
Summon Megalitzers to the center of the room
Kill the Megalitzers, making them enter kamikaze mode
Summon six kamikaze Megalitzer heads, each
Kamikaze

Phase 2 strategy: since players are now being chase by three huge triceratops skulls, running is a good option. When an Epialitzer skull hits a wall, it will stop for 5 seconds, then charge again. The Megalitzers are now in the center of the ring (The Epialitzer can still regenerate the Megalitzers, and each head can fire 6 triceratops skulls, and all three heads will randomly: Summon Megalitzers, Make them enter kamikaze mode, and Fire skull missiles). When a head has taken sufficient damage, it will chase the player who dealt it the most damage for 15 secs (They charge like a Tier 3 Howlitzer at this point) and afterwords, explode (Damaging all monsters and knights in range)!

When all 3 heads die, all the Megalitzers will also die, and the boss will drop 1-4 Haunted skulls (6-8 for swarm version, if it will exist), which can be traded for Howlitzer gear (E.g. Howlitzer armor ***, Megalitzer armor ****, Epialitzer armor *****)

I know I already posted this idea, but I thought that I would post a new clean version.

I'm assuming this is a t3 suggestion, but if it's not, my excuses.

First off, how do you know Howlitzers are triceratops? They can as well be Unicorns! (or rhino D:) Keep in mind that T1 Howlitzers have no horns.
But really onto the suggestion itself:
How would ALL the levels look? Would they be just the old graveyard level? Keep in mind that each non-prestige boss has a level scheme that NEVER changes. I don't care if the level is graveyard-skinned or not, it must have unique things.

Next off: Do you know how many bullets a t3 howlitzer shoots? A lot. A three-headed one would be much more than a bullet hell, and lots of lagspikes for weaker computers.

Onto the boss itself:
The first phase seems to be hard except the big-bullet part. Bigger bullets (I'm assuming he's shooting 1/attack) are easier to notice and avoid, trust me. Even with Black Kat and Miracle Cloak it would be hard to last long (especially in solo) if a huge amount of howlitzers tries to kill you. Also, 3-7 health per bullet? Every t2+ weapon can 1hit the bullet, then.
...shooting a spray at it
You mean throwing a ball of water or gunning it? If you mean gunning, you're being racist against Swordsmen and Demomen. How are non-gunners supposed to do this? Is this some weird way to make Winmillion good? Or bring back the old Shard Bombs? Don't expect it from OOO, they hate the two. It's a wonder the Winmillion is still liked. (But not used.)

Howlitzer gear:
Stats.

I thought I would post a new clean version
Or google back the old thread and edit the post instead?

So its a tier 3 boss i'm assuming?
I agree with inferno. If you do the math for a tier 3 howlizter boss (3X5= 15) Thats a lot of bullet.
The arena must be big to dodge the bullets.

I think the arena IS supposed to be big.

Here's a link to the original post, in which Horseclaw had to borrow my account due to login issues.

Or we can just cut to the chase and look at this picture. Note that some changes have been made since this picture was posted.

EDIT: Using my pintrest account, an updated version of the battlefield has been posted. I leave this link for Horseclaw's reference.

...

1 This is a T3 boss
2 The Megalitzers are triceratops skulls with a neck bone, the Epialitzer is three huge Megalitzers combined. A normal Howlitzer is a rhino skull with a neck bone
3 The 3-headed Epialitzer shoots ONE large bullet, which must be destroyed, causing a bullet spray to be shot at the Epialitzer, damaging it
4 The bullets have like 20 HP, they are healed 5 HP per Megalitzer bullet
5 I'm coming up with the reward ideas later

There's your answers

1. Okay, good. T1 is too easy.
2. This is a rhino skull. And this is a Triceratops skull. and THIS, my dear, is one of the many dog race skulls. Now, my boy, I believe a Howlitzer is a Dog Skull with a horn. Rhinos don't have a THAT small horn.
3. I wasn't talking about the boss but the smaller 3-headed enemy.
4. 20hp on t3 is still 1 hit. Are you even aware how much damage t3 weapons even do? Over the 150 to the 360 if you don't count charge attacks, gear bonus, and UVs.
5. Meh.

item suggestion

I think for this boss you could buy recipes for special weapons and armor, all being 5 star variations of current weapons. Here is the list of recipes : Shadow Slammer (mega magnus shadow upgrade)
Same damage as callhallah but deals shadow damage with a chance of causing moderate stun but a extra bar segment to attack rate, or same stun and attack rate.
Rapid Shadow Shard (super dark matter bomb upgrade)
This would be a very different variation to the normal dark matter bomb due to the fact it instead of firing shards that blow up later it fires shards at a faster rate that deals damage on hit. Once a shard hits some thing it will not continue going unless the enemy is killed. The shards are around the same size as Howlitzers bullets. Fires 13 shards that deal around 6 and a half bar segments worth of damage on hit. The actual detonation will do around 2 bar segments worth of damage. The shards will travel out towards nitronome range but the actual blast radius will only be blast bomb radius.
Radiating Shadow (rapid shadow shard upgrade)
Direct upgrade to the Rapid shadow shard that causes 8 bar segments worth of damage per bullet and 3 bar segments for the actual detonation. It will fire 20 shards on detonation. Same shard radius and blast radius as the Rapid Shadow Shard.
Wraith's Breath (ONE of the winmillion upgrades)
A shadow damage winmillion upgrade that will have a good chance of causing moderate poison on blade and projectiles. The damage value will be around 9 and a half bars. The projectiles will do 2 bars of damage and instead of only hitting the target once will pierce them and hit up to 3 times.
The charge attack has a increased range of around 3 more blocks.
Shadow Stalker's cloak (sunset duster upgrade)
Has 7 normal defense bar segments and 10 shadow defense. Charge attack reduction medium for guns. Possible curse resist of 3 bars.
Shadow Stalker Akubra
Same stats as the Cloak. The point of this set is to make guns that have a strong charge attack have a armor suit to help them like the Magnus ,Catalizer , Blasters and ugh... needles.

Derpuraptor dies, and has no more energy

1 Stop complaining about skulls
2 The Megalitzers are NOT three headed
3 How much health do you want it to have? 10,000 (I've not been in T3)?
4 Nice ideas Wafflecone (Especially the winmillon upgrade), but since when has a boss reward been an upgrade?

@horse

I really disagree with the hole attack speed increase thing because we already have 3 gunslinger armor sets that provide attack rate boost I still think it should have gun charge time reduction. Why does the Wraiths bre- scream :l have stun? it isn't a heavy weapon and again, poison would work better as it has a big attack combo. Stun isn't that helpful either to be honest. There is no need for the Epialitzer set to have bonus damage vs undead.

@ Waffleconecake

1 Every weapon has attack speed increase, but I'll make it increase damage.
2 Wraith's scream makes high-pitched sound, just like a Wraith's scream. Causes stunning do to loud, high-pitched noise, like a Wraith's scream
3 Damage bonus vs. Undead exists because skelly armor would probably used with elemental or piercing, because it protects from fiends and undead which use shadow damage, and there are more undead than fiends. But, I can add a bonus against both.
