Voter's guide to voting
So I hear you don't have the time to vote, because for one you can't afford the time to hit all the links, which were arranged for you so concisely.
Honestly, all you have to do is to take a glance at the entry, take in the first impression, and decide whether or not to vote for it. You aren't even required to participate in the contest, spending hours on working an artwork like other contestants. You just need to look. It's that simple. All the links are there right in front of the screen.
Unless you tell us your time is used up on judging every entry for the rest of the day, or arranging all the entries neatly into a forum post, or dozing away after working up an entry for days, you really have all the time in the world. In the end, just like what Tevokkia said, if an entry won the community's choice award and everyone isn't satisfied about the results, we'll all know who to blame. The one who has all the time in the world.

Updates!
Well, the Community Choice votes have been tallied and I am working out the Fan Favorites. The art category prizes have been determined, and all but the short stories in the writing categories. Still need to determine the Best in Show winners and any subjective prizes I feel like giving. I know I have at least one in mind.
I've only got one person interested in running an event, and she seems most interested in doing so during the actual award ceremony, which I was trying to avoid. Since I really don't feel up to running an entire day of events myself, that part of the proceedings may, unfortunately, have to be cancelled. There's just been too much going on here for me to be able to concentrate on that part of it.

Heh, thanks for the offer. I have the award ceremony under control, but here's essentially what we're looking for in events:
1) Something you can run on Sept 14, and which ends no later than 8:30 pm EDT
2) Accessible to anyone who wants to participate, whether or not they have participated in any other part of the contest
3) Doesn't require prior knowledge of specific fan works or trivia outside of the SK universe
4) Any prizes need to be provided by the person running the event, unless they'd like to award either iron lockboxes or tri-heart pendants, at which point I can supply (I'm tapped out on everything else)

Weapon Wars Games
The games that require a specific weapon are because the game relies on a specific property of the weapon. The weapon does NOT have to be leveled, as how powerful the weapon is will not matter for the game.
What matters for each game:
Elimination: The random nature of the Sealed Sword's charge attack
Alchemer Wars: The reflective bullets
Curses!: The chance of curse from the Faust/Gran Faust's charge attack
