Basically my suggestion boils down to this: Will there be "Steam Trading Cards" for Spiral Knights? If you don't know what I mean check here.

So when the trading cards come out of Beta, will the game have their own set of cards and emoticons? And if so, here are my suggestions of some:

Cards: Proto Knight, Gremlin, Lichen, Swarm, [Need more Ideas]...
Emoticons: (All of the Icons. Ex. :skfire: = Fire Icon)
:skfire:, :skfreeze:, :skposion:, :skshock:, :sksleep:, :skstun:, :skcurse:, :skbeast:, :skconstruct:, :skfiend:, :skgremlin:, :skslime:, :skundead:, :skswarm:, :skcrown:, :skenergy:
Background: Clockworks (<-- Like the picture over there on the sides of the screen -->), [Need more Ideas]...

So I hope this may be a feature if this game decides to have trading cards, feel free to add your own suggestions and tell me what you think!

Problem

SK doesn't give random drops like in TF2 and Dota 2. You could make it a monster drop though.

According to the FAQ I linked to, it states games will drop it randomly while you play (as if you were playing Portal 2 and you got a card randomly while playing), not as an actual In-Game drop. But F2P games have the ability to drop items more or less often depending on how much money you spent.

No, look at the FAQ. There is no actual game to play with them, it is just collect 8 cards to get a steam badge showing how much you like that game.
