I am not sure but I would guess that looping was considered an exploit by manipulating game mechanix and dragging is more to the tune of playing with your self or multiboxing. Both of your knights legit pay 10Ce per lvl and recieve the intended gains, no harm no foul.

What Luke said. That and it was explicitly said that alting is allowed because it's not an exploit. It's someone making the game harder for themselves (if you call higher monster health more difficult) or time consuming to get a bit higher payout. They also pay twice the energy unless one or both of the alts have elevator passes.
