Regarding the upcoming update, and after much reading of patch notes and these humble forums, it seems as though there are a few underlying problems that you're attempting to fix with these updates. These 'fixes' are of course accompanied by a few of your personal goals as well. As you say you listen to feedback, and read these forums I only ask for some serious thought and consideration when I say...

But nooooo, threee ringsss! you're doing it wronggg~ ;-;

*ahem*
Among your many problems and goals seems to be 2 outstanding topics that I feel are not handled correctly:

1. The acquisition, use and profitability of alternate SK accounts.
2. The goal of promoting team and party play.

These two issues need to be fixed, yes, but not like this. With the current line up of updates... I see myself no longer running with a party at all... In fact, i feel that what you're doing DISCOURAGES party play, rather than encourages it. I know others would agree. This has been said many times, although not in so many words.

I don't want to pick up my own drops. This system is not only bothersome, but also extremely inefficient for everyone in the party... something MANY if not ALL veteran players pride themselves with (efficiency).

I will leave you with a situation to put yourselves in:
FSC: D25
**********************************************************************************************

EDIT: I've found a very nice and easy semi-solution for this problem. If OOO could add some AI to our new Battle Sprites, and enable them to pick up coins CR and MATs this problem will be fixed in almost all ways except on a very large scale... but i could deal with it.

For that reason alone I am never doing FSC in a party again if this goes through... 1 of 2 things happen, You either spend an extra 3 minutes running up and down all of the rooms after they have been completed, or you get a MASSIVE loss from de-spawned crowns. Both of these decrease efficiency

I ask you, please OOO, find other ways of stopping alts... they need to be stopped, but not like this.

Crowns won't despawn after this.

1 crowns do not dissapear anymore (sorry for echoing)
2 if you do all the left side, get the loot, then repeat on the right side, you spend about 1 min to gather all loot.
3 what's the suggestion in all this?

Efficiency

My suggestion is to not go through with this part of the update, in all honesty, i dont want to spend a minute doing nothing but roaming around gathering every crown i can... I'm positive there's a better way to do it. The purpose is to stop alt dragging and promote team play right? Well, in my opinion its only doing one of those, then discouraging the other.

Please play the testing server before commenting on what you think of the changes. You are extremely misinformed, largely due to the fact that you won't be spending as much time in FSC anymore.

From the Test servers:

Well... if you will fail to listen to me, here is a very well worded quote by a knight that goes by the name of 'Downgraded' ON THE TESTING SERVER.

"As far as collecting your own crowns and heat goes, I see very few people happy about this. If we assume that what OOO is trying to do is curb alt draggers, then these thoughts occur to me:

1) OOO is punishing the entire community to curb a problem with a very small portion of the community.
2) Money making runs (think FSC) will take a lot more time as everyone has to go collect their own crowns and effectively add time doing nothing but running around to get loot. Almost nobody will be happy about this.
3) Some alt draggers may continue to alt drag anyway, causing runs involving alt drags to take substantially longer than they do now.

Those thoughts in mind, who does this benefit? Sure, the alt draggers, and parties involved, absolutely take a hit. Every single person who plays this game will experience time wasted running around collecting loot (BORING) when we automatically got it as soon as someone picked it up. So who does this benefit? Nobody. The small portion of the community that are alt draggers, and every single person that plays the game along with them, will now be spending much more time just running around than they did previously. I compare this to carpet bombing an entire city block in order to destroy an anthill."

I think he and I have made excellent points.
Also olert, i feel that i will be spending my time where I please, thank you, I happen to enjoy FSC and the excess crowns it gives and i will continue to enjoy it before, during and after this update.

1) OOO is punishing the entire community to curb a problem with a very small portion of the community.

Actually no, they're not. By making crowns more difficult to aquire for everyone, the value of crowns actually goes up, making it far more worth your while to collect them. This lowers CE prices.

2) Money making runs (think FSC) will take a lot more time as everyone has to go collect their own crowns and effectively add time doing nothing but running around to get loot. Almost nobody will be happy about this.

This update is to discourage grinding of FSC. Three Rings never "officially made FSC the go-to place for money grinding", that was just a result of crown balance. Now that they've implemented a system that makes money grinding difficult in the place where people usually money grind, everyone is having a little boo-hoo when they should just man up and go have fun in the arcade.

3) Some alt draggers may continue to alt drag anyway, causing runs involving alt drags to take substantially longer than they do now.

So you're saying that people can still alt drag but they don't get any extra crown per minute than a person playing through the level legitimately? That means the update has done its job.

So who does this benefit?

Everyone who bothers to pick up the crowns. By picking up the crowns, they're remaining in the top tier of people who do, essentially "being the ones who pick up the most crowns" and therefore becoming richer faster than others.
Anyway, it's not hard to pick up crowns from nearby combat (what you're in most of the time) and the majority of the time levels are linear. Sure every level has a branchoff "treasure path" but you all end up going to the very end of that path anyway looking for hearts, vitapods and vials. I don't know anyone who actually co-ordinates their party properly (except me) and allocates people to different paths to maximize efficiency. Since no-one actually does that this update isn't really hurting anyone.

I see your points, but...

I see what you're saying, and you make plenty of good points, and have given me a new perspective, but at the same time...

1) What you're saying is and is not true. In theory it sounds fine and dandy... but in reality we both know that something like this would in no way 'deflate' the extremely large inflation that is going to be coming up as a result of this update. Making gathering crowns 'harder' less convenient and efficient does, just that. It will not in any way stop people from going to gather those crowns, meaning it will not lower prices. Only make runs slightly more boring.

2) Can't say too much about this, as you make a good point for the most part, but still a few things. This is not to discourage grinding of FSC, it's to encourage exploration, essentially 'Do whatever the hell you want guys! Have fun! its a game!' and you know what? I like that idea. In fact thats why I made this post, I may or may not be having my little 'boo-hoo' but feel that this part of the update will cause tedium rather than fun. Which again isn't their goal!

3) Nope, not what I'm saying. Alt dragging will still be profitable, and always will be until there's a way to stop it completely. I'm saying people will still do it, will still profit more... but this update will just make it that much MORE tedious than it already is for everyone else in the party BESIDES the alt dragger.

Re: Benefits
In fact :) I do that sir, along with my whole guild, we talk in skype and everyone is usually told where to go by the highest ranked officer in the call. As i said before, it helps very much with Efficiency and run speed. That's the whole root of the problem here... while its not the worst thing in the world It doesn't solve the overwhelming problem and it in fact creates plenty of new ones that are just flat out annoying
I appreciate your input! :)

You do realize that no matter what you do at D25, you're still going to have to go to each room to collect all the crowns, right?

I believe is is referring to

I believe is is referring to the fact that everyone must pick up their own cr and mats now.

Still though, the patch is a welcomed thing with the whole money system, since you are now getting 4 times as many materials as you usually do. And if you know the base prices for materials, selling them will be more than worth the extra 1-3 minutes to pick them up.

Lol Hexzyle. Coordinating with your party? Pfffft. The trick is to get around doing that by goading them into going down a different pathway than you. That way, it will be most efficient.
