They fixed not being able to craft the same exact foods with it (craft 1 Divine Orb with 2 Divine Orbs.) Otherwise, it treats it as completely seperate food for crafts.
Also from the patch changes, I see no noticeable changes to Spark drop rates. I still get my usual 0-3 sparks per run.
