NO! A BATTLE SPRITE WILL NOT BE A BOSS ._.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Anyway... As I was saying... A new Tier 3 boss

Lore:

After investigating the collector, Biotech Morlin was studying a new way to track and locate battle sprites. He noticed flows of energy follow the footsteps of these Battle-Sprites. As he investigates the clockworks, he notices a mysterious energy flow of magic down near the core of the clockworks. Desperately, he calls a search squad to investigate.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
First Mission in the Series: Call of need

The First Floor:
Entering the lairs, you notice the place is a forest-like theme, much like the gloaming woods. It is a small area that leads a straight path with a circular opening in the middle. A dead end with rock coverings ahead. There are already investigators here. Many of them. There is one investigator with a chat bubble on top of him. As you talk to him, you notice there is a miner knight mining away at the rocks.

Conversation:

Investigator: Elite, we have just uncovered this place. Look at the sky, you can tell there is a light sense of magic going around here.

You: Does that have anything to do with the mysterious flow of magic.

Investigator: Of course. It means we might have hit jackpot. Behind that huge wall of rocks is the way the magic is leading. If we can get that huge boulder out of the way, we can easily make it through. Then we will see why there is this gloaming magic around. Then, elite, case shall be solved. Easy as that.

You: So you're saying...

Miner: Ahhhhh!

You look in the direction of the miner. Out of the cave, millions of drakons fly out of the cave casting fire balls at the squad creating a dense smoke. As the smoke clears, you see all the knights injured against the walls except for three. As you look, he flock of drakons flew away but what you notice is that there is a knight sitting on top of a very VERY big drakon. One you have never seen before. You contact for a squad of knights to help the knights that are wounded. Attempting to go back on the elevator, you notice that it is not functioning. While you're on your way, you notice the cave seemingly empty. You and the three knights enter the cave and notice a stairway down. Into the cave, there are many new enemies. Down the staircase, there is a huge circle but you can only go left. Right is blocked with immobilized blocks. The circle is a levitating bridge. Under it, nothing. Endless drop. Battle your way through the bridge and hit all the switches. When you reach the end, the last switch should open a gate that lets out one prisoned drakon. One of the knights following you will tame the pet and cast the fire ball at the immobilized blocks breaking them and allowing you though. The gate where the drakon came from will have another switch where you will be able to hit and render the clockworks elevator. As you rush back the direction you came from, the other squad appears and cares for the damaged squad. You will take the elevator and leave.

Enemies:

Corrupted Drakon
Fire Blast
Fire Breath

Jade Greaver
Dive
Bullets
Haze

Gun Puppy
Bullets

Scuttlebot
Bullets

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lore:

After returning home to haven, Morlin is now concerned about the other battle sprites. The maskeraith seems to be holding off the drakon powers to a report of another knight but the seraphynx has not been seen. Morlin locates a seraphynx out in the open. You must quickly go to it and rescue it.

Second Mission in the Series: Protection of the smallest

The First Floor:

Regular normal Aurora Isles

The Second Floor:

Regular normal Wolver Den

The Third Floor:

Pass a ghostly gate and into a giant grassy area. You find a seraphynx in the middle of the map smiling and moving around. As you approach it, you see the flock of the drakon's shadow over head of you. You grab the seraphynx and run. During this time, non-stop spawning of corrupted drakons will appear and shoot millions of fire blasts at you. The run is a straight, then turn right, then turn left because there is a gate at the right. Continue left then turn left again and you will see a switch. Hit the switch and go back the way you came into the gate. The gate will be open. You will keep going straight until you reach a party button. Hit it and all the drakons will flee. In front of you will be the gate to go up, but down comes a GIANT drakon that falls right in front of you. A shadowy knight in a hood riding it. On his right arm, you notice the Crimson Order Patch. He seems to be in a Chaos Cloak and Cowl. He wields a resemblance of the Cold Iron Vanquisher.

Conversation:

???: Give me the battle sprite and everything will be fine.

You: You shall never have this Seraphynx.

???: Then you shall pay.

The Drakon will start firing fire blasts. Dodge and escape them. He is invulnerable. Dodge the fire blasts for about thirty seconds and the drakon will move toward you which opens up the elevator. Get on the elevator and you're safe.

Enemies:

Corrupted Drakon
Fire Blast
Fire Breath

Giant Drakon
Giant Fire Blast
Fire Breath
Tackle

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lore:

Now Morlin asks why the knight would be in the Crimson Order. In distress, you look down and find a map at your foot. It was behind the Giant Drakon when you found it. Taking it out, you notice the plot all set up. The knight seemed to have wanted to attack haven, setting up a fortress outside of Haven; A siege camp. You must stop this. You show this to Morlin and quickly set off, meeting him half way.

Third Mission in the Series: The actual boss round

The First Floor: Crimson Seal

Scarlet Fortress themed round. You enter the chamber which is a one way direction, right. Going right, you enter a hall way outside the ghostly barrier of the elevator. You will see pictures along the hallway of the Crimson Order Staff, which might be a spoiler later. Along the hallway, there are random pots sitting there. Anyway, when you go in a bit, you will find 5 gremlins thwackers along with menders will spawn. So, the knight is in league with the gremlins. Through the hallway, it will lead to an intersection of 3 other paths. To the north, the gate (2) is locked. To the south, the way is blocked by stone blocks. Destroy them to get through. To the right, the way is gated but has a switch that will turn off after hit, leaving you not able to go back.

South:
As you continue south, you will find a large room with spikes all around except for the path in front. Basically, spikes to the right and left. In front, the key is sitting on a pedestal but a hidden gate is at it. When you reach the key and almost touch it, you are pushed back and it is locked with 2 locked gates. God... Two more keys. Well, suck it up. This is Spiral Knights. Anyway, you will have to look left and right. The keys sit in the middle of the spikes and about 10 gremlin scorchers will appear at the spikes flaming you to death. The spikes are in a chess kind of pattern that interchange as they go up and down. One goes down, the adjacent ones go up. Defeat the scorchers with your guns or dodge their fire attacks and grab the keys. When you finally get the key, you walk back but find it is covered with, yet, more monsters. 20 Gremlin Knockers. These little pests. So annoying. Use the key afterward to open the first gate and prepare your journey to the right.

Right:
Continue right and you will find a staircase upward. Going up, you will go in a circle with 10 gun puppys with their spray and pray. Luckily, they don't respawn. Take them out and at the end, the key. Seems too simple... Go up to the key, take it, INSTANT DEATH. Okay, well, not instant death. the middle of the circle is nothing but space right? Well, suddenly, there is a platform, with 30 corrupted drakons on it. Have fun. Fire pots around to fire at them if you have no gun. now, why 30? Well, who cares? If you try to flee, the gate is sealed. You must eliminate all enemies. By the way, 30 drakons: 30 fire blasts you must dodge. You will be able to tell if they are about to release a fire blast. Shield and Kill. Grab the key and RUN!

The journey continues north where you will be at an arena like area with the party button in the middle. Upon touching it, 5 greavers will spawn and attack dealing massive damage to you. Not enough? Summon 5 more drakons. Good game for you. If you can honestly beat that wave, a wave of Darkfang Thwackers will take you on. 10 of them on the spot. After you think you are almost done, A RANDOM GOLDEN TROJAN... Alright... That might be a bit too impossible. How about a buffed corrupted battle sprite. Stronger, Bigger, More moves, More health, Good bye. Take it out and the gate opens with 6 boxes sitting there waiting for you with love, along with an elevator to take you to more danger and death.

The Second Floor: Point Mansion

You enter the area, a small bedroom-like room. Bookcases along the walls, bed at the corner, a bag of chips laying on the ground and a computer. Okay... maybe not the computer but keep the chips. Too good. Anyway :P. The direction you will go is north and you will arrive at a staircase upward into another hallway. 4 Demolition Gremlins will spawn with their bombs. be careful. You don't want to lose health already. Get pass them and there is a longer hallway going left and right. Going left will lead you to a regular room of shards and boxes which are not needed but when you step into the room, 7 drakons will awake and attempt to eliminate you along with a gremlin war-master (A gremlin with a large needless hammer that goes around smashing it using all it's force. Deals damage like a lumber and very slow cooldown but little health. Also, it cannot be hit from the front or side. Only directly at it's back. After you collect your goodies, you go left which you shall reach a medium sized room with a party button on it. When you hit it, you will be surrounded by 8 drakons that will try to attack you, You eliminate all of them except for one which you notice, does not deal damage and does not take damage. After the others are eliminate it, the final one flies away. You see in front, to the north, a large gate. As you step close to it, you will have the option to "talk/interact" to the door. Your knight will listen carefully. In a party, only one needs to do it. It shows some-what of a cut-scene I guess. There are many gremlins and knights standing around all talking about how powerful their new nation will become. it looks like a dining room. A room the size of a Arena but more narrow with a dining table in the middle, grand father clock in the background with a nice new wall paper. Then, the drakon flies in from the roof opening and seems to interact to the gremlins. In a second, the double doors fly open and all the gremlins and knights look at you. Then they charge you. The team consists of a band of 5 thwackers, 3 Demos, 1 Mender. The other 5 knights seem to be corrupted like the other knight, wearing the cobalt armor along with the defender and caliber but with dark purple eyes. They attempt to attack you (Two moves: Move one is regular combo. Move two is the charged). Kill all of them and you will be left with an empty dining room. There is an intersection again. North, Right, and Left, though the North is locked by Two gates while the Left is locked by one.

Right:
You go into another room in the "mansion" which is apparently a training room apparently. You notice that the room is VERY large. No joke. VERY large. When you go in the room, there is a fence. You have to go south down the staircase and reach the bottom. There you will find many corrupted knights. About 50. You must slay all of them. The knights that don't see you, about 10, will be looking like they are hitting punching bags. When you look carefully, it looks like a regular spiral knight on the punching bag. The room itself has a bunker area with many beds, the training session I: many punching bags, training session II: Many spikes, training session III: Status effect. It looks like the advanced training hall but less advanced. Killing all the enemies, you will find a switch with a monster gate in front of it, which means to slay the 50. When you enter, you will find the switch plus a knight. If you attempt to attack the knight, nothing happens. When you talk to him:

Conversation:

Knight: Please, I don't want to be here. Please help me.

You: Why are you here?

Knight: They attacked us in ranks of MILLIONS. MILLIONS! They brainwashed us except me. I acted to be corrupted but I never liked it. I wish to return home to haven. And I hope you do to. Please, help me.

You: Follow me then.

He will start following you and helping you attack. Takes damage though. At zero health, he starts to stay back, regenerating his health. he will not attack when he has no health but he cannot "die."

Left:
After the right one, you will go into this little meeting area where all the gremlins have their backs turned to staring at the head gremlin. The gremlins will chatter and then the head will notice you and alert the others after a moment. They will charge straight for you. There are 8 gremlin apprentices (Moves not as fast, cannot dodge as fast, but have a proto-hammer. They toss it straight at you dealing about 45% of the damage the real one deals). Take them out. Killing them, the head gremlin will run going through a door and will seal it. At his desk that he was at, there is a target button. Press it. The north should be open now.

North:
A passage to the next floor! Yay. As you approach the elevator, the guy begs you to go to haven:

Knight: You must. He is way too strong. That must have been easy but please, he will kill you. Run when you can. Haven is lost.

You: Haven is not lost as long as I stand on this land.

Continue onto the next floor.

The Third Floor: Dwelling Rescue

On reaching the floor, you will see that fire is burning all around you. You seem to be at an open area. As you look around, you are at a burnt down house. At the door of the house, there is a gate that blocks your way, The only way to open is to search around the house. You walk around and find a large pile of rocks. As you approach, you hear a call for help. You pick up the rocks and throw them randomly around breaking the rocks. After breaking some, you notice a knight going up from a basement.

Knight: Thank you. When the attack happened, they slid down this mountain (A random mountain to the right of the house) and released rocks that crashed through my house. I would have been dead. Everyone else fled when they attacked.

You: I am here to engage a fight with the one behind this.

Knight: It is too dangerous, but if you saved my life, I shall do it with you.

He will follow you during this quest. You go through the house and it is a vast area. Though, forest themed. You can only go right. Left is the mountains. North is a wall. Going left, you reach an area with a party button. When you press, you are concealed in a cell (A bit bigger than the button so you can kind of move around. 7 by 7) and hundreds gremlins thwackers (no shield) will spawn around you. They will want to kill you but suddenly a figure in the back, the same knight tells them not to engage.

???: We must let them be concealed. If any of you releases the knights, you will be punished, by a death penalty. They are strong enough to kill you. Tactics must overcome the powerful.

He walks out of screen and away. What to do now... You're stuck in a cell. What can you do? All of the thwackers suddenly scatter leaving only four behind. Your job is to talk him into giving you the key.

Gremlin: What do you want?

You: Can you please let me out?

Gremlin: No.

You: Why?

Gremlin: Because I'm told not to.

You: I pay Crowns.

Gremlin: No.

You: I'll give you... a bomb? (Gremlins seem to be fond of explosives)

Gremlin: Where? Give me!

You: Open this cell.

Okay... It might not go like that. Find a small opening in the cell and slip out. As you open it, destroy the guard. The other three behind wake up and call for help. Defeat 5 waves of 25 thwackers to finish the area. You continue your way left after. Enemies will strike you during this time. Run quick or kill them. Unlimited Spawning. No Crowns. You will find a scarlet fortress like fort and a door. Break the door and go in where a party button will be. Hit the button. Suddenly, the boss guy appears. He lands in front of you, The room seems to be like another... YET another arena. He holds out his hand (His Blade on his back) and he glows blue sending magic. He will have a purple shield around him which means invincible. (By the way, not at the boss yet). He has simple phases:

Phase one:

He will be invincible and summon 10 thwackers. Destroy the thwackers and he will unleash his blade. When he comes out of invincibility, he will do a strong slash that will release a sword-like projectile much like the faust or avenger but it will be blue and light blue for the Cold Iron Vanquisher. He does his combination and charge attack dealing damage. Attack him and lower his health. After a couple seconds, he will become tired and sash on his sword and create the magic again. This takes a 5 second interval which you will possibly be able to attack him during this time. Once he reachs half health, he will go to phase two.

Phase two:

He will dash around the area like using the striker in Lockdown. He will have spinning orbs around him and invulnerable. And dashes around the room about 5 times and releases the orbs (6) to fly up and all target around the player(s). Then he starts recharging his orbs going 2 orbs per second. Deal as much damage as possible. Then he will release a magic flow that pushes the players away from him and deal damage if not guarded. Then he will do this routine until he gets only 1/4 health left. At this point, he flies backward into the gate where the elevator is. He unlocks the elevator and goes down the elevator. Though, another arrives for you.

The gate closes again and spawns 5 thwackers. Kill them and the gate will open for the last round. You may choose to go up or down. Are you a winner or a loser?

The Fourth Floor: Drakon Rage

Reach the area and it will be a scarlet fortress map. The healing pads are around the corners of the room. Then there is a party button ahead. Press it to close the gates to the healing pads. The arena is as big as Jelly King. WELCOME TO THE BOSS

Resistances:
-Fire and Ice have no effect.
-Piercing Damage will be stronger slightly. WooHoo Blitz.
-Elemental Damage along with Shadow Damage will be resisted. Elemental more.

Phase one: The Drakon - Very Easy

He sits on his drakon and it starts releasing fire blasts from left to right. It faces directly at you. Dodge it's bullets and fire at it. At 4/6 of it's health, it will enter phase two.

Phase two: Gliding Fury - Dodge and it will be Easy.

The Drakon will glide upward and fly around only visible by it's shadow. It will randomly glide near the ground and shoot fire in a line from north to south, east to west, west to east. When it glides near the ground, either block the fire and let it break your shield, or attack it, though you will be hurt most of the time. When it reaches 1/2 health, it goes to it's next phase.

Phase three: Deathfire - Hard

The Drakon and the Knight will land in the original spot and then start morphing. The Knight will have dark deadly wings with a black halo on his head. His armor will be completely black. The drakon will turn black and grow large wings. It will have two attacks. It will spit out three fire blasts every time it attacks releasing millions of blasts. Dodge these and after a time, it will stop for a while. 2 seconds? It's second attack is go glide a bit off the ground and wave it's wings pushing knights back and deals damage. Shield to take no damage. Knights hit will a wave of wind cannot shield therefore taking damage for all the rest of the attack. Destroy the Drakon.

Phase four: Knight ??? - Hard

He will jump off his destroyed drakon and flourish with anger. He grabs out his weapon and start rapidly attacking a new combination: Wide slash left, Wide slash right, Wide slash up, 360 spin. His charge attack will be 3 consecutive spins which push back enemies. Kill him and then you will retrieve the prize and reward. About 10 boxes and an elevator.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rewards:

Finish Mission:
-Crimson Coin
-3 Sparks of Life
-Prestige

Finishing Boss:
-One to Four Crimson Coins

Brinks the Token Vendor:

40 Tokens - Drakon Darkfire Harness

A Harness which your Drakon will deal pure shadow damage. A pitch black Harness where it emits a small Aura.

50 Tokens - Death Iron Vanquisher

Looks like the Cold Iron Vanquisher except a recolor. It is basically a ticket to recolor it. You must have the Cold Iron Vanquisher and talk to the Variant Master to be able to add this special "Variant." Does complete Shadow damage along with a death aura like the Dream Venom Striker but black.

20 Tokens - Drakonic Broadsword

Basically, it's an average broadsword. Combination consists of a downward slash from right to left, 360 spin to the left but only hitting in front (180) from right to left, step lunge folding at the left chamber and releasing straight out. The last hit knocks enemies back a bit. The Charge Attack makes you do a downward slash from right to left releasing a fire blast dealing damage. It is a 3 star weapon. At 4 stars, only damage changes. At 5 stars, the charge attack does an extra downward slash but from left to right releasing another fire blast much like a drakon.

Yay for creativeness! Now if only this kind of creativeness was added to the dev discussion about what should be a good counter for removing the practical use of energy?
