I'm here to serve you the best grinds in all of Cradle. We all know how bad the devilite coffee tastes, you know? It's why they chuck their joe at us.

So with the removal of mist energy, there were two main reactions: people farmed FSC more than ever, and people went to the arcade more than ever. My theory, is that to achieve the highest amount of crowns, neither of these ideas are correct. Wait, what? FSC isn't the best coffee shop in town? I argue that it isn't.

Here's the old paradigm. The goal of farming was to make the most amount if crowns within your limits. With mist, you had 10 levels you could run so your goal was to make as many crowns within 10 levels. Hence, FSC. Nowadays, there is no mist. So what limit do we have? Time. The goal is now to make the most amount of crowns in the smallest amount of time. Why not FSC? Personally it takes me about 45 minutes to an hour in a full elite party to do FSC from top to bottom, Vana not included. I could grind that, but think about it another way. If there is a level where I can get 300 cr in 1 minutes, in the same 4 hours to do 5 FSCs (50k-60k cr) I can get 72k. But wait, where can I get 300 cr a minute? This largely depends on your level loading speed. In a full normal difficulty RJP first level, I can reap about 800 cr I think. The whole thing takes 2-2.5 minutes to run. If I do this for a whole hour, assuming total loading speed for the whole hour is 2 minutes, I get 18,560-23,200 cr. which, compared to 12k from EFSC is a whopping larger profit.

Whoa, so is RJP the best place? I don't know. I'm currently on a hunt for the mission with the most dense population of monsters as early on as possible. T2 and up only, due to T1 stuff only giving about 200 cr per level.

Menu
RJP (4, normal)...............800-900/2 min.

More data to be posted.

If anyone has any idea where there are better grinds, just post it and I'll add it to the menu.

You think like I do. I'm not

You think like I do. I'm not sure about crowns but heat per minute is the first two levels of Snarby.

You want help? For data collecting? I can do a Strata 3 and 4 arena.

It's a Concrete Jungle out there

There's other goals, though. In addition to crowns, one needs to get Fire Crystals to heat their stuff, and let's face it: if you can handle 'em, it's far more efficient energy wise to tackle Danger Rooms for the Crystals than it is to just buy 'em from Kozma's Museum of Fine Ripoff Art. Alternatively, use Danger Missions; you can even ask someone lower than Vanguard to let you into a Danger Mission that'll give out different crystals! And don't forget Treasure Vaults.

That said, plowing through the same level multiple times simultaneously sounds mind-wrenchingly boring. You can make quite a bit of money selling Sprite food anyway; have you SEEN what Sera Food goes for on the Auction House? Undercut those guys' buyouts and BAM! instant cash. (Well, not instant, but in the middle of a Danger Room found immediately afterward is pretty darn close.)

Join Iron Skull gate at D25 when it's on an arena. You'll get at least 10k for doing 4 floors, one of which are possibly a Treasure Vault, and the other three being arenas. All of those are quickly done.

my 2 cents

Arcade as been resurrected!!

The only good point about missions is to farm tokens. Farming cr/fire crystal is more efficient on Arcade runs (except Glowing Fire Crystal. RJP/RT are good for that)

Compound gives tons of mats/cr in Elite too. Arena and Treasure Vault are worth something, plus each time you hit a jelly farm you hope for an imposto XD so there is a thrill in going into Arcade rather than Missions.

A minimum wage job pays 7.25 USD in the United States. I can't speak for other countries, but 7.25 USD = 2537.5 energy at 350 CE per dollar = 2537 CE per hour.

At 8000 cr per 100 CE, which is a bad measure given the instability of the "new" economy, we have 3383 crowns per minute! Therefore, working at McDonalds is the highest paying "run".

The game is no longer (as) immensely economic as it once was.

You didn't include the price of having to live IRL. That rent ain't gonna pay itself!

Rent?

We presume to be the lowest functioning but still of-age knight here; we don't have the skills to live in a house or take care of ourselves. We walk to the coffee shop where we work, then use 100% of our income on CE via the local library's computer.

It's much more efficient to sell steam games for CE then to buy from 000.
8.25 minimum wage where I live so that'll get you about 2500 CE if you buy CE from OOO.
If you sell steam games at 600 CE/$, then you get about 5000 CE.
despite the fact, that I'm not old enough to get a minimum wage job..

The strange deluded homeless person that we presume ourselves to be doesn't use steam, and isn't smart enough to buy/sell steam games in the first place.
