Randomly Generate Boss Depths

One of SK's claims to fame is its randomly generated levels, "So you never play the same level twice", but how about implementing it where you actually notice it? My idea is to make Boss levels also randomly generated. That way, doing multi boss runs is less boring, and it would be a bit more challenging, not knowing what's coming next.

Tell me what you think.

Just do Arcade instead, Boss levels are unique. It's wouldn't make sense Doing Treasure Vault and Graveyard to get to Royal Jelly King.

Startch you do realize changing boss levels will reduce or change the crown output of the boss levels and make them less boring. How is that bad?

You can change the crown output via difficulty. And like I said Boss levels are unique. If you find them boring you can always play Arcade, or do the Boss run through Arcade, so it's more fun.

Startch what I mean is that by having multiple levels for bosses the average crown pay out can be lowered and less reliable due to levels not always being the same 4. Would it really be bad to adf verity to boss levels? For the missions they can just make you go through the levels eith the lowest pay out.

One level of FSC has the statues thing, yet 99% of parties still choose the left path.
If people WANT to get bored, they deserve it.

That's just because players are given a choice of more difficulty for more payout, even though picking Elite and going left is easier and gives more payout than Normal on right. It's just not worth it.

He doesn't seem angry at all. If anything it sounds a bit like you can't take criticism. But he's has a point. People do chose to bore themselves so they can have more money because people are greedy. People choose Money/Items over fun in this game.

Either this, or make at least two more levels for each depth and then make it random which it picks.

Hardly. Both paths give the same payout, while the right path is actually faster

Still baffles me to this day why even experienced players choose the left path. They scared of Trojans or somethin'?

I've gone both paths plenty of times, you do get more money on the right but it's not enough to be noticeable, which defeats the purpose. I also find it way easier to speed through the left than the right. I wish the left had a trojan spawn in each room or something just to make it interesting.

Just because the right path isn't that noticeable that shouldn't stop you from going that way. if you want to fight a Trojan then go the right way. Nothing's stopping you (apart from your team-mates maybe). Also I don't actually think the left is faster. The right is, plus it's more fun than the left.

Until blitz gets a deserving nerf a trojan is not even a threat.
Out of the people who do FSC more then 80% or more do own a blitz and use it like robocop and just kill them in 1 charge.
So I missed the fun part of that.

My freind Kingmars would also be 1 of those people...but anyways...boss levels are too easy, Vana could be hard but only if the levels are changed and generated. They should still be unique to the run up of the boss (FSC still following the fire theme with wheels and stuffs, rormy keeping shock and factory with missiles, etc.) but keeping everything the same is boring mainly because it makes things EASY. Just to say...worked out the crowns per second on boss missions on elite...snarby worked out best (and I'm slow at Snarby)...now there's no lift costs the tables have turned. :| So Vana is now cheap, boring and getting easy...it needs updating. And...Vana has wheels, Rormy has Missiles, Snarby has shock bells; Jel needs something to make it stand out...I'm not counting minis...they don't stand out for obvious reasons (low damage, tiny, easy to kill...monsters).

on elite Blitz is pretty pathetic vs trojans. Faster weps are more useful. (And yes, the blitz is slow)

On elite max damage blitz actually has a place, unlike the old difficulty/advanced, where you only needed a small damage boost to oneshot trojans.

Well consider the danger mission "heart of ice". That has a unique boss fight as well as a randomly generated first level... is it really such a big thing?
