Read title. Sorta like how Runescape cloned a new branch of their game from before they ruined it.
Re-release the Preview Event for Caketastrophe
I had suggested that idea before but everyone hated it.
Not as a full-time thing, but as a fun event I think players would be willing to look past how broken/imbalanced these monsters were.
They could just re-implement all the things they took out (that weren't irreparably broken) permanently instead of for a stupid week-long event, so they could actually put effort into them and make them good. Doesn't that sound better?
They were all broken though. Fixing them means removing what made them special. Their specialness was inherently related to their brokenness.
Not all of them. Things like Gold Trojans, sure. But Tortos as I understand were buggy and too... "unpredictable" or something like that. And they're coming back, and will hopefully provide some semblance of a challenge. Sleep status needs reworking, but it could return in a completely different form and I think most people would still be happy. Vog Cubs were basically Alpha Ash Tails with Red Rovers inside of them. JGG was only removed because it was "too hard" for new players, who could encounter it very early on. (Actually, Torto was like that too.) Basically what I'm saying is that they weren't broken beyond all hope of fixing them, it was just determined not a priority and they were shelved.
Vog Cubs, Slooms and Sloombargo, Golden Trojan, Jelly Green Giant, Tortodrone event danger mission? Would play, would play.
