Elite enemies would show up only in T2 and T3 when playing in Elite mode. They would sometimes spawn in place of other enemies. They would also spawn regularly in Danger Rooms regardless of where you are or the difficulty. Elite enemies can drop rarities.

  • Glaring Zombie: Looks like a Dust Zombie but with a mask that looks like a Grim Totem mask. It would function like a Zombie, but with a few differences. It can swipe and leap, but its breath curses you. It has a ring around it which revives other Zombies. (This ring is half the size of Totem rings in T2, but full size in T3.) When it dies, the revival ring vanishes, but it will revive itself in 8 seconds in T2. (4 seconds in T3.) However, if all normal Zombies are defeated, the Glaring Zombie will return as a Dust Zombie after being defeated. As a strategic measure, it may chose to use its leap attack on other Zombies when they are almost dead, instantly killing them and thus restoring their HP. (Tactic used in T3 only.)

    It would have to be slain last out of the whole group. If there is no room to push the Glaring Zombie away, Knights will have to kill it then slay the other Zombies before it returns.

  • Gremlin Gunslinger: An entirely new enemy. Gremlin Gunslingers carry Catalyzers and Pulsars. (Only get Poison or Shock variations of guns when in such levels. They always deal elemental.) They will tend to use the Pulsar when at a distance and when battling several targets, while using the Catalyzer when Knights are close, stunned, shocked, or frozen. The Gremlin Gunslinger will strafe and dodge often, making it hard to hit at range. When approached it will attempt to dash away or, if there is something preventing escape, will start shooting Catalyzer shots. Will try to scatter Pulsar shots as to give good coverage.

    When there are enough other Gremlins, they will command them using a few simple rules. While implementing commands, they will hold still for a few seconds. After issuing commands, these commands will stay for 30ish seconds, and then will have to be re-issued. The rules are as follow, with 'me' as the Gunslinger and 'you' as the commanded gremlin:

    Menders: Keep as much distance from knights while still healing. Prioritize like this, highest priority first: me, you, Twackers, Menders, Demos, Burners, Knockers, Constructs. Do not heal monsters of other families, and stay ready to heal any of us if needed.
    Twackers: Surround them, particularly the one which I am shooting at. However, keep slight distance and keep some distance from other Thwackers to avoid getting swatted by their big swords.
    Demos: Stay near me and drop bombs to keep me safe. When bomb field around me is sufficient, throw bombs at the knight I am shooting.
    Burners: Stay at a moderate distance. Try to trap them with your fire so that I can hit them.
    Knockers: Stay behind the Thwackers, and hit the knight if he tries to escape.

    Lore: Many gremlins lack steady hands, so they weild heavy axes and throw bombs. However, there are a gifted few who can keep their hands steady enough to aim a gun. These gremlins are trained to be a part of the dreaded Crimson Gunslinger group, with knowledge of both gun fighting and advanced battle tactics. When they appear in the battle field, other gremlins won't hesitate to listen to their orders.

Gunslinger is probably too difficult to be coded right now, but it would be awesome if it could happen. Glaring might or might not be hard. I haven't thought up any other Elite enemies, and I probably won't.

Cool Ideas. And I would like to give some to you.

Swift Wolver(T2 and T3)
A experienced wolver most fast than normal wolvers.
Abilities:
Fast Bite: Bite more fast than a wolver's bite. It means that have less delay.
False Bite: Indicates a attack, but dodge the knight and bite behind it. This do more damage than the Fast Bite.

I don't mind the gunslinger one but the glaring zombie one is a bad idea. We have carnavons which deal curse with there breath and we have dreadnaughts which revive zombies. You can encounter both of them in the last floor of a black kat mission.

You are experiencing a PICNIC ERROR!

@Creeperlucario

Then why not have Dreadnaughts in Elite mode? I find that a better idea, I suppose.

@Cupcake

Durp you are right. But it can't be as big. I was wondering if it could split up when killed, making it an inverted Lichen.

Gremlins already have an elite

The Gremlin bombers are considered elite. They're not as bad as mecha knights or greavers, but they're still elite.

We need elites for undead, slime, and beast. Escpecially beast given that they're the smallest family. And hopefully something not like a wolver this time.

Giant Lichen Colony? Alpha wolver? Deadnaught?

Mortafire being considered brutes seem sketchy to me considering their numbers. The closest I can think of to a true brute for Gremlins is the Gremlin Incinerator, who only appears during the arena at the end of C42.

Also, construct still need a brute tier enemy.

kham, construct brutes are lumbers. gigant lichen colony is gigant, alpha wolver is a brute, deadnaught should be a gigant.
glaring zombie seems ok, gnlinger seems complicated.

"kham, construct brutes are lumbers."

You're totally right, lol. They're so darn rare and basically only found on beast levels that I completely forgot.

So I guess just grem need a brute?
