It would be cool if there was a bow and arrow in this game, it could be like a reskinned blaster or antigua, and the charge could be like a blaster(one powerful shot) or multiple arrows like an Antigua.

We need some more details on this suggestion, plus some normal objections. For starters, a typical archer could not fire nearly as quickly as a gun can, not even at Iron Slug speed. Secondly, what damage type? Which gun? Would it deal statuses? Which kinds? How many monsters can it hit at once? And so on.

I suggest to be a crossbow

I suggest to be a crossbow instead, since it fits better with the other guns.

Still, sandwich is right (except for the archer, at least back in the time). you need to be more detailed than that.

Want a shotgun? Too bad, Blitz is your shotgun

Want to have a chance to have your idea added but have time to only write 1 sentence? Too bad, you need more detail

crossbow

I think a crossbow is a good idea, it can fire like a blaster
There can be different ones that do different types of damage I'm thinking elemental and pierce. It cab also do status Conditions. My ING is thebronzedragon btw
This game doesn't have to have a "typical" archer

My Arrow Idea

I think this is how should it work.

There should be a bow and arrow, that shoots 1 arrow that does half of the 4* damage, little bit higher than 3* damage. It shouldn't do any effects, and should decline ASI UVs.

It could do Normal damage, with extremely low speed or Callahan/Iron Slug speed.Instead of having a charge attack, holding Attack button should make you hold the arrow, with charge attack hold speed (some weapons slow you down when you are charging the weapon).

Erm, thought here...

What about a new weapon line? Here me out;

Currently, we have guns that shoot multiple bullets over a long distance. We have swords that deal multiple attacks nearby. And we have bombs, with one attack nearby. So, what if bows were charge only, dealt MASSIVE damage (and I mean, like, 1-hit-kill-in-normal-area-on-normal-monster, massive) and had slight homing ability (cause, if you miss with that ONE arrow...)

I also think, similar to swords, they would have pure normal, pure piercing, and split elemental-normal/shadow-normal. Also, status, at least, definitely fire. I think a Cryo and Pyro bow weapon line, normal damage with freeze and fire, would be a good place to start.

I'm all for making gear reskins, since it seems like the animation team has plenty of time to make new costumes... but concerning a brand-new weapon type..

I should say this first. There will always, always be a problem with charge-based weaponry, and that's how absurdly influential CTR is in deciding whether the weapon is anywhere from garbage/decent to outstanding. That besides..

If I had to make a bow for SK, it'd probably be some mix of gun and bomb mechanics; shoot projectiles like a gun, but you're forced to use charge attacks like with a bomb, with some sort of tradeoff like being able to move much more freely or having instant travel time on the bullets. It's likely very difficult to make that work well, since you need a good balance between how difficult and how effective the weapon is. Pulsar vs. Catalyzer is a joke. Brandish vs. nearly everything is a joke. Shivermist vs. other 'support' bombs is a joke. Stuff like that should be kept to a minimum, if not removed entirely.

If anything, a mechanically difficult weapon should be more effective than a mechanically easy weapon. Rocket Hammers are a good example of that, since you need to know what you're doing in order to use it effectively (and not kill yourself).

Guns are difficult to balance because of that, I think; how do you balance something that lets you be perfectly safe, excluding situations where kiting just isn't an option (Grinchlin Assault's last fight, for example)?
