My first post in the suggestions.. so please bear with me.

Nothing Much, but Adding a damage counter so you can see how much damage you've/team mates have done on a depth.
With an option to turn it on or off. People could use it for mini competitions or a guild promotion, whereas 4 people play for a veteran/officer spot and whoever gets the most damage on a depth like http://wiki.spiralknights.com/The_Gauntlet gets the promotion.

In the situation you gave(guild promotion), wouldn't that be kind of biased, since the ones racking up the bigger damage are the ones with stronger gear? The mini competition though is a much nicer situation.

Ridiculously useful for Lockdown.

@ Hearthstone, Wouldn't the person with stronger gear be more suited for a higher ranked place in the guild? And guilds don't have to use it for guild promotions, it was just a suggestion for what it could be used for.

Assuming this is an option that would be able to be toggled on/off in a few certain situations: +1. For a competition guild event or promotion challenge like you mentioned this could be an interesting and fun feature.

However, if this were always present: -1. I'd be worried it would eliminate teamwork, which granted, for most levels isn't necessary, but for others (i.e. Grinchlin Assault, Apocrea, etc.) teamwork becomes more crucial. Obviously GA and regular clockworks runs are very different, but it's on the regular runs where players should learn how to play as a team together. Further more, I feel it would stop players from trying out play styles such as bombers which takes a much higher level of skill to try to compete with a chaos/brandish user.

@ Quartiq, I see, that's a good point. Maybe an option to hide your damage from your party as default settings? With damage counter disabled during events?
