I'm considering merging my account with my steam account, is it a good idea? Is it better to do this?

Also, as for steam account rewards, would I be able to get those after merging?

This thread is not pointless, not a thread for cats or anything that will attract ladies. This is a thread that serves to help users that need help. Say that I need to ask a question. I would ask it right here and somebody would answer it.

I was having a look at helmets, and thought that this one looked pretty cool. But I was wondering, is it possible to get one on an account that isn't merged with my steam account? Or rather, is it bound to you when you get it? Or is it possible to trade it?

i recently tried to run SK in best quality possible to see how much it lags me .. then switched back to minimum ..
but now even on the minimum settings it seems laggier than it was before

are the preferences stored server side or can i check / edit them in a file?

So I'm kinda new and ever since I've came back, I kept crafting/buying different gears and weapons just to try them out.

Right now, im using a Fireburst brandish (which will be my main weapon) and the needle shot (going to be the blitz needle thingy). I might also use either Dark matter bomb or get a sealed sword for the gran faust? (the shadow sword one). So that way, i have 1 of each element.

I'm more of a new recruit to Steam than Spiral, but this looks like the only real place to ask questions.
So. Couple questions.

- Do you have to have your Spiral Knights account linked to your Steam account in order to get the promotional items? Or can they give you a redeemable code or some such thing?

- Is it still the case that, once you link your Spiral Knights and Steam accounts, you can then ONLY play Spiral through Steam, and no longer can play it through its own client?

*SL Boss rooms are doable. Just when i get to the unknown passage, i die, use excessive CE, get "stunned", list goes on.
Whats the best weapons to go against the Swarm Seed? Sometimes the Swarm Field expands too fast to battle it. I do have some luck with the Polaris but it just spams as usual, and you dont want to have extra lag in the laggiest place in SK.

hello my fellow knights

me and a friend wanted to buy the total war collection, we would split the special items form tf2 and SK. this may not be the perfect place to ask this, but then this does concern 3 different games franchises. anyway, here are a few questions of mine:
1 can i buy the bundle as a gift, give the games to my friend, but still split the tf2/sk items?
2 how will one receive the special items? through a mail in-game? or apear in your steam inventory?
3 can we split the games in the bundle? will we get a gift card for each individual game? or is it all one gift card?
