I like the idea of being more tanky but I just don't know if its a viable sidegrade considering its drawback (less attack speed). Should I work for it?
You die on a level. All of your party members then die on the same level. You all decided to go up to Haven. What happened to the loot and the heat you acquired in that level?
Hey, I'm really liking bombing, and am planing on running a 2 sword 2 bomb setup with the spiral demo set >> volcanic demo suit as my endgame. I'm pretty sure I want to go Shivermist Buster to get the Frost effect+for fire mobs, but what would be a good 2nd bomb for pure damage? Or, if the Shivermist Buster's effect is useless what is a good alternative "status inducer" bomb?
Does anyone know what Vertical Sync, Compatibility Mode and Render effects do? I'm australian and while i don't have lag as such i have a significant delay between when i deal damage and take damage even though everything is moving in real time. I'm trying to get it on the lowest settings.
I went solo today after reading how to do so on the forums. Didn't realize when grouped that you COULD go down another level! So I scoped out as far as I could go.
I wound up in a graveyard level. Tons of skeletons, fairly easy to kill, seemed like awesome loots for me!
I've been trying to wrap my head around the defensive system in this game but i still haven't managed to find some concrete answers regarding a couple of topics.
1.a. Helmet and Armor contribute 50% each to your total defensive stats (shadow/pierce/normal/elemental); thus a full normal defense helmet bar would mean half a bar in your total defense. Did i get this right? If so does anyone know how defense works? Is it "additive" (flat reduction) or "multiplicative" (percentage reduction)?
Maybe my frustration comes from that information in wiki is wrong: http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Chaos_Cloak
What sense of 5star item if it only decreases elemental defense and do not provide significant bonuses instead.
