Greeting Spiral knights forums. My name is Azure-Orbit and what you are reading is my first forum post and first S.K. fan-fiction. This story will be updated irregularly since I write better when I do it for leisure.

I will post the prologue of the story first to get me in the feel of writing. This story will be based of off the game itself, but there will be some real life elements put into play as well (e.g: no respawn within the clockworks). I'm just an amateur writer if you ask about my skills, but I hope you will enjoy reading it all the same.

Hello, readers. I usually dabble on the visual side of artistry (http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/23089), but it just so happens to be National Novel Writing Month at the moment, so I'm dabbling into the verbal side of art. I don't intend to do a full 50k word novel of fanfic (I'm trying to do a couple of shorter stories rather than one big one as long plots are hard and getting the writing done at all is enough challenge for me), but I do intend to squeeze as many words out of it as I can, as it apparently is easier for me to write than stories of my own creations.

/EpicFail: The funny side of Spiral Knights

I'm going to try to make a comic-like series of scenes about SK that I will update whenever I feel like it, I won't promise something like 'regular' updates cause that will set me up for future disaster, these differ from my usual Spiral Spy scenes in their format and extra editing. I may try to post them in a strip form sometimes or will just put them up as a series of individual images.

I decided to get out of the fanfic business for the duration of NaNoWriMo and am now offering a poem service. You can ask me to write a poem about anything appropriate (no excessive gore or adult content, please, although themes of love are still accepted), and I'll mail it to you as soon as it's finished. Ok, the story starts as me (Ghigxhalon), the main character is captured by Gremlins in my sleep.
The first four characters will be the ones to rescue me in Chapter 1.
And, thus begins the Clockworks Adventure!

(Before I start, the three characters: Fish, Fate and Karate are actually myself (Australiumfish), and two of my friends, Fateshaper (Fate) and Karateninjablader (Karate). The three of us often go on various explorations of the clockworks, and I occasionally, randomly write it like a story. They told me to try writing a proper story about one of our explorations, with a little enhancement, so I figured ill give it a go.)

I always thought it kind of cute that in the midst of gourdlings attacking you, you'd sometimes find a pair oblivious of everything, dancing with one another.

A quick note here. The beginning hasn't been revised much, if at all, so I just want to let you know I was rushing that a bit in the morning before school started. I'll clean it up later. Also I haven't written in this kind of "diary" format before, so this is kinda different than my normal stories, which of course are not Spiral-y Knight-y.
