Cursor Pack Thread
I haven't tried these "cursor packs", but here are the equivalent instructions for macOS. Locate Spiral Knights.app. Right-click (or control-click) on it to bring up a pop-up menu. Select "Show Package Contents". Then drill into Contents/Resources/Java/rsrc/ui/cursor.
Edit: This is for the stand-alone client from www.spiralknights.com. For Mac Steam instructions, see post #5 below. (Thanks, Petater.)
I thought modding the game is technically against the terms of service, even if you don't use it to gain an advantage...
For steam users on mac the SK folder is ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Spiral Knights
Use the "go to folder" option under the Go menu for Finder if you run a recent version of Mac OS X that hides the Library folder by default. Copy the path above and paste it in there.
Fun fact, on mac you can run the steam version as a non-steam standalone copy. Just browse to it in terminal and then run ./run.sh
Sorry for having to talk like a 70 year old person, but what is a cursor pack and how does it change gameplay?
"Cursor pack" is not a common phrase in my culture, but I suspect that it means: A set of images that you can use to reskin the mouse cursor in Spiral Knights.
"Reskin" is not a common phrase in my culture, but here I use it to mean: Change the appearance of.
"Appearance" is a common phrase in my culture.
To add to Bopp's thoughts...
"Cursor" means the mouse pointer on your screen.
Cursor pack is just something I can up with because it's easy to say and it explains what it is pretty clearly. If it already has a name I do not know of it.
This looks cool...
But will they blend?
