Orbs are not problem, you

Orbs are not problem, you need tons of fire crystals. I already said that rarities booster is great idea for players and developers. $5.95 for 30 days x3 rarities.

I dont think that will solve the issue at hand.

When say orbs are not the problem can you elaborate on that? Are you saying that you love going though the whole depths of clock works without finding a 4* or 5* orb???? You can't tell me you do cause that is super frustrating especially if you need them to craft something. And a rarity booster? Not bad idea but doesn't permnatly solve anything, and it still isn't gaurnteed that you will find higher tier orbs. But i do agreee with you on the firecrystals. They as well can be pretty difficult to find(HIGHER TIERS). Which brings me back to my point. I really strongly beleive that increasing the drop rate for all the rarities(ESPESCAILLY THESE ORBS) would be a benefit for everyone. DEVS!!! I CALL YOU TO ACTION!!! PLEASE DONT TURN A BLIND EYE!!! INCREASE THE ORB DROP RATE!! I KNOW SOME KNIGHTS OUT THERE SHARE MY VIEWS AND CONCERS!!!(p.s. pleez exuse my grammar and spelling errors :) ).

Ogygus seems to have

Ogygus seems to have misunderstood. After grinding Vanaduke for hours a day you will be drowning in Eternal Orbs. However this does nothing for Elite Orbs, which don't drop in FSC (at least not very often) and seem to be the real bottleneck when it comes to expanding your 5 star arsenal.

Since I'm also needing a lot of Elite Orbs, I would also like to receive more, but that would mean players buy fewer orbs from the Supply Depot. Which means they spend less Energy. Which means the devs make less money. And I highly doubt the devs would do something like that.

hmm

Orb drops are in a fine place. While you're searching for elite orbs (likely in the second half of tier 2), you'll come across money. Using this money, you can purchase energy. With energy, you can buy three orbs of alchemy.

You are also given a small handful of elite orbs as mission rewards to give you a head start.

Yes, the 4* grind wall for orbs is the most annoying one since elite orbs are difficult to come across, however the methods in place to get elite orbs are fine as they stand. There are many player-defined strategies for finding elite orbs (enough that I've accumulated about 69 of them at this point), however the energy purchase method is considered the most stable. Having elite orbs drop across more depths would help, as the window to find them is a bit narrow.

How about this?

I had an idea mentioned very briefly in my first post but i would like to expand on it more. The idea was being able to craft orbs. Its just a thought but it doesnt sounds that far fechted. Tell me what you think. Maybe they could allow us to use crystals to be able to craft them. sound good? yes? no?

I think craftable orbs sound pretty cool. Maybe if it was 5 of a certain star of material and 50 of the corresponding fire crystal (e.g. to make an elite orb you could use 5 mugs of misery and 50 shining crystals). This could solve the problem of elites being super rare and shinings being everywhere. You could also make a decrafting system where an orb turns into, say, 10 of the same level of crystal. This would also solve the radiant problem.
If fire crystals and orbs were interchangeable, you could solve both the Elite problem and the Radiant problem.

I just don't know how it would affect lower tiers (e.g. simple orbs: warms are so easy to find).

Balancing orbs and rarities in general is a pretty tricky business. I would like for them to experiment more with it without going overboard. There are many configurations I would like to see them try, and many different things that could work.
