I'm working on a wiki article about the history of the game, and it would be great to have help with one little item from 2012 or 2011.

When piercing swords were introduced, they had long strokes like Sealed Swords and Troikas. Because their strokes were also not slow, they were quite deadly in Lockdown. At some point there was an update that silently nerfed their length. I remember that other players noticed it before I did, because I'm not very observant. On 2012 November 12 I finally edited my sword guide to reflect the silent nerf.

So my question for you old-timers is: When did this silent nerf happen?

....judging by these posts, I would say September 19, 2012. however, I'm saying this solely based on the time stamps. I'm not sure myself, nor do I have any further evidence to back it up. :s

I decided to read the thread and seems like I was wrong, the nerf happened earlier. one of the posts links to this:

edit: this pretty much confirms it's September 5.
