Lockdown Classes Ideas (Sniper and Bomber)

CLASS: SNIPER

HEALTH BONUS: +4

BONUSES AND PENALTIES
+ Handgun DMG bonus med
+ Handgun CTR bonus med
+ Handgun ASI bonus med
+ MSI bonus low
- Sword Damage decrease med
- Sword Attackspeed decrease high

ABILITY: Tactical Crouch
TYPE: Toggle Type

- Activating tactical crouch will root the user in place.
- Gains the ability to move cameras and see farther (Similar to predator from Diep.io)
- Gains the ability to see clocked recons
- Handgun basic attack bonus range (x1.5)
- Handgun charge attack bonus range (x2.5)
- 15% chance for critical hit (200% dmg)
- Laser Sight: The user can get spotted because of this but I think this is needed for balancing.

+ Bomb CTR bonus High
+ MSI Bonus Very High
- Handgun/Sword Damage Decrease High
- Sword Attack Speed Decrease High

ABILITY: PLANT INVISIBLE MINE
TYPE: ACTIVE

- The user has the ability to plant an invisible bomb that will only detonate when an opponent stepped on it, or when it took a hit from handgun shots/sword swings from opponents.
- Any bombs can be used. (From Blast bombs to Mist Bombs)
- Maximum of 3 mines can only be planted. If the user already planted 3 bombs and planted another one, the oldest one will detonate.
- Bomb explosions (Both from user and opponents) wouldn't detonate the mines.

While I do like the idea, these act less like "class shields" and more like "class actions". The fact that the sniper actually changes weapon functionality is probably a no-go.

Additionally, no class should be limited to a specific weapon type, rather, certain playstyles should be encouraged but not required. The bomber requiring a bomb to play their class at all isn't really fair and locking out all other playstyles for them reduces its appeal.

I'm all for additional classes, but I believe they should be something that's less of a "enhance weapon" and more of a "opens up new playstyle doors".

Personally I'd love a "Scout" class that's another support class, where shielding will make all friendlies in your radius gain a speed increase and perhaps negate deathmarks plus some innate MSI and ASI at the cost of damage. Such a class would allow for guardians and recons to reach the front lines quicker, as well as pull the team back to heal as needed.

Basically classes should interact with each other instead of interact with their weapons. Sniper and Bomber classes don't interact with other classes in a meaningful way, and are more at home in a fast paced FPS game than a top-down arcade game.
