I was excited when I saw the announcement and started up the game on Tuesday. I had some issues that have already been reported and/or fixed (e.g. with the escape key) but also audio didn't seem to be working at all. I tried again Tuesday evening after one patch and again today, but there's still no audio.

This is an arch linux/gnome system. I haven't customized anything specific about the sound system. Audio was working before Tuesday, and it still works in other apps. I tried renaming my ~/.java/.userPrefs/projectx/prefs.xml in case there was an old setting that was breaking things, but that didn't resolve the issue. In addition to this forum post, I also submitted an in-game bug report, in case that comes with information. My projectx.log file is below, although it seems sparse. Let me know if I can provide any further information or testing.

Did you change your audio

Did you change your audio device when the game was already open? This is the same issue with many people and needs to be fixed. To fix this, you have to restart your game.
