I want to map each weapon slot to a different keyboard key or mouse key.. (as of right now you can't bind mouse buttons 4 or 5)

Example:
I would like to be able to the letter E as an example to pull out weapon 1 .. or I would like to be able to bind say wep 2 to the side mouse buttons 4 or 5 which you can't even map in this game at all.. I find scrolling thru the weps kind of annoying. I am used to FPS games where I map each wep to a different key.

I also think it would be cool if those red health pills were always mapped to 1 key like it could be the letter F if you mapped it to that .. so that way you don't have to look up to the top of the screen and see OH look my pills just happen to be in the number 3 right now.

You guys really need to add

You guys really need to add this.

I am too used to playing games where each of my weapon is mapped to a different key.. if spiral knights supported this i would go

Spacebar = wep slot 1 sword
f = wep slot 2 bomb
c = wep slot 3 gun

it would be so much better then scrolling..

I'd love to be able to do,

I'd love to be able to do, like I do in TF2,

mouseup: sword 1
mousedown: sword 2
mouse3: gun

So that I'm not constantly checking my weapon to know what I just pulled out in the heat of battle. It was fine when I had no weapon slots open (up and down do the same thing) but now I find it immensely annoying.

Oh yes this is something I

Oh yes this is something I definitely wish to see implemented. I am very used to being able to select weapons from weapon slots via assigned hotkeys in other games. This will better aid my playing ability a lot.

Please implement this. Or at

Please implement this. Or at least tell us why you won't. This Feature has been asked for countless times and it doesn't sound too hard to do.

Another note

What I'd also like is, on your weapon, there'd be 2 smaller weapons, with a transparent image, to the left and right of your weapon. That way, it'll show which weapon you'd switch to if you went left, or right.

I came up with this

I came up with this suggestion thread months ago. But I'll just what my key bindings are. It might server real purpose for those winmillion for fast sword users.

This is basically Quake controls (for those who play lots of competitive Quake, you feel right at home with these controls.)

Attack - Left Mouse Button
Shield - Right Mouse Button
Next Weap - E
Prev Weapon - Q
Left Shift - Lock On ([Turn off Lock on, in options menu])
Toggle Lock Hud - H

For me personally, and other quake players know that scrolling through the mouse wheel can be clumsy at times (like accidentally skipping a weapon or two.), that is why it is best to have the Next/Prev Weapon bind key should be Q and E. Because its next to your movement controls, and you can quickly switch up your weapons.
For example, if you have 2 winmillions (Like me), you can "Swing, Swing, Block cancel, switch weapons, Swing, swing, and repeat" very quickly. Verses if you use the mouse wheel, mastering that technique will be difficult.

Scrolling dosen't make sense

Scrolling dosen't make sense when you have more than three weapons. Then one weapon will always be two scrolls away, in either direction. I'd personal
"For me personally, and other quake players know that scrolling through the mouse wheel can be clumsy at times y like scrolling, plus pushing the scroll button down to skip ahead two weapons."
Hah, I'm a scroll noob. Thankfuly the lightning gun is next to the rail.

Also, you can map

Also, you can map next/previous to different keys. I switched my scroll around, up for down, etc. You can't map a skip one slot or a specific weapon slot.

Yes, this is about being able

Yes, this is about being able to press one key for what weapon slot you want. So you can switch more precisely. To the weapon you want. Not to a random neighbour of that weapon.

I know, just pointing out

I know, just pointing out that a couple people merely wanted to remove the scroll.
