how about some spears?knights used spears and lances alot right?why not us? hell,id love to try to get a slag guard lance with some almirian seals. it could have a three hit animation slash right then left then stab opposite of the flourish line so they could use those animations so they dont have to start from scrath with new animations. the cgarge attack well,it could be throwing your spear/lance at someone or it could be like slash once then an epic stab. there could even be different lances/spears for all types an elemental line like the brandish line a normal damage type like the calibur line one for undead and one for normal. and a shadow lance for those who want to kill gremlins with a oversized toothpick,not that the flourish line already isnt. post ideas and thoughts?
1. There is Lance code and resources buried in the game.
2. Its not clear the last time it was in use (possibly pre-beta)
3. Lances and long polearms in general aren't balanced well for swinging, but were excellent thrusting weapons.
4. Being a heavy weapon, it'll most likely be a slow, 2 strike weapon with a decent strike zone and good reach.
5. Charge attack would probably mimic the Slag guards with a long thrust forward and extra wide strike zone. May actually be grounds for a weapon that can plow through a group of monsters and scatter them.
