Why use my search? Because Google doesn't work like you think.

You can do Google searches tailored to the SK forums by typing "site:http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node" in with your other search terms. This limits the results of your other terms to ONLY the SK forums. Using Google in this way is free and can be a little helpful, but most people do not realize there are huge flaws that will skip good results AND provide bad results! Everyone should understand that before they use Google to search!
Allow me to show you why Google doesn't work as well as many believe.

 
Problem #1: Useless results outside of the Bazaar
Searching "(wts OR sale OR sell OR selling) chaos fire max site:http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/" gives you 336 results. "WTS chaos fire max site:http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/" gives you 85 results.
How many of those pages are in the Bazaar? How many are people selling the item? How many are people just talking talking about the item?
You will receive a large number of useless results. Slogging through those results can take a lot of time and pain.


Problem #2: Useless results from bad search intelligence
Let's do a search for "(wts OR sale OR sell OR selling) chaos fire max site:http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node". There are 336 results and four of the first ten results are not selling what we want.
Let's take a look at this store. It is a good illustration of the problem: this result has NOTHING to do with a fire max chaos item. The webpage contains the words "chaos", "fire", and "max". They are not together.
I know what your response will be: "Cheshire, just use quotes in your search term!"
Quotations create new problems: Googling "chaos cloak fire max" with quotes will filter out valid results.
Google will take your quoted term literally. It CANNOT detect all the ways that people actually write things down.
If a seller writes any of the following word arrangements, Google will not find them:
"chaos cloak w/fire max"
"chaos cloak with fire max"
"Fire max Chaos cloak"
"chaos cloak fire VH"
"chaos cloak UV fire max"
"chaoscloak fire max"
"chaos cloak with dusky wings and fire max"
and... etc. You get the point. Google can't search intelligently for different word choices and arrangements. A Google search will not include all of the search results in the forum--just some.
If you search "Chaos Cloak" and "Fire max" with multiple separate quote terms you're back to Problem #1 all over again!

 
Problem #3: Google is out of date and missing pages. Always.
Search engines only store data on the pages that they actually find and read. They need to crawl the entirety of our SK forums to find the text on every page. According to Google's Cache, my forum store hasn't been indexed since last month and Google does not have a full index of our forum.
If you use Google you're not searching every page--you're searching the pages Google has bothered to index.
If you use Google you're not searching the current pages. If someone posted that item you want in the past few months Google won't know.
 
 
 
I have SOLVED THESE PROBLEMS!!! :D
1. My forum search only hits threads from the Bazaar. Nowhere else.
2. My forum search goes line by line in the website's code. It doesn't matter how someone names the item. If those words are all found on the same line of text I will find it!
3. My forum search is updated before every search request. If you pay me to find something you get current results!

My opinion is that the Google search, while free and somewhat helpful, is still a huge time-waster. That is why I made this search engine--I wanted to find all of the REAL results buried in our forums without the frustration and wasted time!

I don't know what the common evaluation of Poison High Spiral Demo gear is, either.
I picked them up a while ago thinking I'd make a Volcanic Demo set for Compound42, but I've had them in my inventory long enough that I doubt I'll get around to it. :)

hmmm...

right now im a bit short on cash, all I can offer are some UVd items (freezing vaporizer undead VH, skelly suit stun high, troika fiend VH) and 20kcr. if you do not want item trades, I can come back when I have some more money at hand.
