#1 Search Methods

Hey there Ches, Luna. I took the time to read both of your threads, and I've got to say it was pretty interesting. I'd just like to give my two cents (because I lost my third cent last week) on both methods from my own personal experience. Do note when it comes down to spending money (especially mine), I tend to try every possible action I have before turning to anything that costs me. Enough about that though, I'll simply cut to the chase.

When I met Ches I was offered that service which I kindly refused at first to search for it myself. I was looking for a Dusky Scarf (using Luna's method) via Google for my first costume quite a few months ago. Of course I found my results for Dusky Scarfs, and regardless of how dated they were I messaged every player selling the item. The ones that didn't respond weren't in-game anymore, and the ones that did lacked the item. So I took it upon myself to save the nodes of my past searches, and I gave Ches a try. Of course the nodes were saved so I didn't go through the same threads again.

Ches got paid, and I got my results. Crossing out the nodes I already had, I was surprised at the amount I missed out. For me this is a big deal, because I'm exceptionally thorough with anything I want. Messaging the posters of the threads I didn't find, out of a majority only ''one'' had the Dusky Scarf I wanted for that costume. From my experience Ches's searches are more accurate, regardless of if it costs money or not I still got what I wanted. I believe like the second Dusky Scarf I'm currently looking for, if I did not use Ches's method, I'd still be in search of that first one months later. Though I fully agree Luna's method is free, from my experience it is not as accurate. It's fully encouraged people try a free search first (obviously because it's common sense), and then try Ches's method if you're still in search and can't find what you need. I used Luna's ''exact'' method of searching myself.

This is all I have to say regarding that.

#2 Business Conduct

No offense (you're my buddy and all Ches), but when I read both your threads, you two are looking pretty bad right now. I definitely understand if Luna poses a threat to Ches's business, but I do not believe it was the right move to post in Luna's thread regarding the subject matter at hand. Regardless of how one chooses to look at it, if someone has a business similar to yours and they advertise it on their thread, then that's perfectly fine as long as they're not calling names . I'm not sure if Luna had Ches's name in their original post before or after Ches made a post there or not, but if that wasn't the case.. Ches you shouldn't have. It's like if McDonald's said they had the best chicken, and suddenly Colonel Sanders barges in their front door and stated why his tastes better. It's unprofessional. However, if Luna had Ches's thread linked to the original post ''before'', then it's understandable.

In all honesty Luna, it wasn't necessary for you to post in the opposition's thread if your service is free. Fine, Ches stepped into your turf, but going into theirs simply because of that was an immature reaction. It literally looks like if you did it out of spite. I'm not saying you did, but it looks that way. Honestly, you posted in Ches's thread right away instead of kindly asking for the removal of the post in private. This is what they call a ''they ate my cupcake, now I'll eat theirs'' scenario. Or rather ''tit for tat''. If you both wish to represent yourselves in a more conductive manner, you should both just remove any links/statements to each other's separate markets and let the public decide themselves. Measuring carrot sticks (worse yet directly) is even worse.

My goal here isn't to help. I'm just one dude. I simply felt to point some things out. If neither of you are competing there's no need to have anything related to one another in either thread. I'll remove mine, if situation calls for.
