I started playing on kong and didn't bother to switch early on. Big mistake. I am now unable to obtain the DLC, and I would rather play on steam anyway. From what I can tell, there is NO way to convert a kong account to steam. I can't imagine this would be too much to ask of you people, regardless of how small the community of kong players is.
And no I don't expect this to be read. Mostly venting here. But if you have a method to do so, please tell me!
WTFFFFFFFFFFF IS KONGREGATE? I keep hearing bout it but am so confused.
It's a site that mainly caters to online flash games - I suppose technically Spiral Knights counts as a high-quality one.
Regardless, I hadn't heard of this before, and it seems rather dumb that they can't give you the DLC outside of Steam - even a small app you could download from the website would suffice.
Besides, wasn't this game made without Steam support in the first place?

@Cyankitsune The DLC is available for us Kong players, but if you're like me and completely F2P, it's impossible to trade CE for it.
I started playing on Kong, and I have no idea how to even get on the forums w/ that account (I should probably just try the Kong login info, huh?). I really want to transfer my account.
I'm surprised more people haven't heard of Kong players. It's the top rated multiplayer game there, and a lot of people on the site play it.
I just dont hear about it being talked about much. Just a word or two here and there and it was really bugging me.

I've mailed Kongregate about this before, and they said something about "Devs are contractually obliged to NOT transfer data from Kongregate" or some other nonsensical legal pile of bovine droppings.
At the moment, steam players are the only players who are catered to. Kong players and players like myself who run the client off my PC by itself have no way to get the DLC.
Nick has said that it "Will be looked in to but I'm not sure if it's possible", which means that it probably won't happen or is low on the priority list. Most of the raging has cleared from General Discussion now, so it's likely to never happen.
