If you know how to use it, Troika lines are very useful; otherwise you should not use heavy swords. Changing its damage from normal to something else would diminish its versatility making it less useful. See my notes here concerning rebalance.

Troika in the right hands is a powerful weapon of indiscriminate smashing.

Call it a personal issue, but you've struck a nerve with these words. As the founder of the guild <Crusher of Dreams>, I will go against this suggestion unflinchingly.

There is no reason for the Troika line to have an increased chance of inflicting status. Stun as a status is broken, and the freeze on the Triglav line makes the knockback of the charge attack essentially useless. More stun means more risk to the user, and more freeze means less knockback. Unless these issues can be fixed (and we've seen no evidence of that possibility thusfar), a higher chance of inflicting status only takes away from the main utility of the Troika line's charge attacks - to keep users safe by keeping enemies away.
