I have recently found several contests / events going on in the forums (such as the one found here. I have been very impressed by the quality of the events I've seen, and saddened that they are so hard to find in the forums without a node number or direct link. As such my suggestion is:

Please create a new sub-forum under General (where General Discussion, Bazaar, and others are) entitled "events" - and only events, or discussions about them, can be found here. It would be a welcome addition to the forums, in this knight's eyes.
