'not a bug in need of Serious surgery to fix, but...

Sometimes when a lichen wanders into a niche when not attacking anyone, it starts oozing against the wall in a strange, inappropriate-ish-like manner... We can even stand next to it, charge, and then hack at it -- but it won't turn around 'till it's been knocked outta place. The lichen honestly won't turn around on its own. Of course, this doesn't happen with the larger lichen colonies.

Also, twice, when my whole party died, a lichen stuck oozing in a niche will squirm faster like it's trying to run through the wall. It's really, really weird looking.

Was there another lichen around? it could be attempting to fuse, but failing at pathfinding its partner.

Yeah, but

Other lichens and gels wander around the room in small spots (like, they won't traverse the length of room to fuse nor will the quicksilvers zap into the health-regenerating mode while we're dead), but they don't fuse. It's a weird direction for them to run and try to fuse through anyway.

I believe (I may be wrong)

I believe (I may be wrong) that the faster squirming is due to a player who couldn't shield bump.

If I remember correctly, there was a bug report about a player who got stuck in a corner because of a trojan. The trojan killed him and the blast didn't bump the trojan away (who was still pinning him in that little corner. Inviting friends didn't help because they also spawned in the corner. So OOO made it so the monsters run away for a tiny bit when everyone dies. Granted, that player SHOULD have bumped the trojan away with his shield and ran away quickly he didn't.

So I believe that is where the fast squirm comes from.

As for the wall squirming, yea, that is probably a pathfinding bug and would be nice if it was fixed.

Shield bumping doesnt knock trojans away.

Shield bumping doesn't knock trojans away from people, they're classified of the few "heavy" enemies. AKA Those that cant be moved. (Manually) An easy way to tell is a calibur line charge, because it hits 3/4 times on heavy enemies.

What's strange is that I can

What's strange is that I can knock trojans back about 1/4 of a space with a Driver, when they don't affect anything else.
