I believe this has been suggested many times already but i think that i have some suggestions.
1-. It could be just like the guild hall except you wouldn't have to pay for it weekly, just for expanding it, buying furniture, changing style, and other stuff (leave some ideas below).
2-. You could have your own storage place, you could obviously store your stuff in there (energy, weapons, armor, crowns, mats etc.). It would be super safe and nobody could get into it and steal your stuff.
3-. You could have people move into your house and be able to live there, but their actual home would disappear. They could put whatever they want in your home and would have access to your storage (or they could have their own storage) You could also have pet homes (maybe a way to store them or make them rest and gain power).
4-. Homes could be pretty cheap (10k crowns maybe :/) but I'm only putting it on this price so new players don't have to spend that much on their homes.
This is all of what i have though of, leave some ideas or suggestions down below

Thats kind of what the ready rooms are for. Or guild halls. There's not much point to having anything else.

Create a guild, name it and keep it closed to the guild hall. Don't invite anyone.

As you expand your guild, you'll pay taxes.

So, no to this idea.

@Batabii- well in that case

@Batabii- well in that case they should let us interact with the ready room, because there isn't really a purpose on it (other than a place to spawn in).

@Skyguarder- well what if you want to have a guild and a home.

You don't need a home.
This is a stupid suggestion.
There is no point to having a home that can not be fulfilled by a guild.
This would just be a waste of development time to make.
Stop posting in this please.

If I hack into your account, the first thing I'd do is search your house, or just plain delete your character.
I fail to see how a storage is super safe or rather if it makes any difference at all.

Hypothetically speaking, of course.

Why people keep coming here why "i want house i want house i want house" thingy thread?

in the time i have been playing spiral knights NEVER in my head got the idea about "have a house" in this game, the game is really really limited, also with the unlimited inventory and without restriction, WHY I WOULD NEED A HOUSE TO PLACE MY STUFF THERE? whats the difference?

then you will say "you can leave your stuff there to be safe" safe of what?, its not like anyone can enter in my inventory and take stuff from there since its my own personal inventory, the only way its if i fall in those lame tricks to get my stuff like "Hey DUUUD gimmie STUFFF i promise you i will give it to you the next day" or well the most know reason why everyone get their account and stuff stolen: Because they decided to give their account and password to ther BFF or Virtual Boy/girl friend

"well it will protect your stuff if you get hacked" as Juances Stated, if your account get stolen, the first thing that the guy who get your account would do is go to your house and "get everything" from your chest in your house, nothing different from them stealing your stuff from your inventory. and even if the chest its "password protected" would happen 2 things:

1) they would start to figure your password until they open your chest
2) if they rage so much because they cant figure the password or the "system block your chest" after some failed attempts... they just would delete your character so you dont going to have your stuff back anyway.

in the end you get -1 to your idea, is just pretty useless since we already have a nice inventory system. placing stuff in "chest" in your "house" is pretty useless because if someone steal your account they either will try to figure the password of the chest or find the chest and get your stuff anyway, OR just delete your account due the rage.

Waste of time, we got guilds. That's enough already. If you want a home then make a new guild, call it whatever you like and then you got yourself a lonely guild...sorry, I mean home.

How homes like those from club penguin, they're quite the opposite of lonely. (also i think you're on my friend list or at least did a few FSC with me at some point)

They're quite lonely, Aotr. The only thing people do to get people in there is to shout out in some type of town square while not spelling anything at all-- not that the censor system lets them.

And doing the same dance.

Over and over.

We've got Guild Halls, isn't that enough?

I like the ready room. You can check your gear and change settings and talk to your guild without being distracted or hassled by other people running all over. Plus you get a nice close up of your knight.

@Aotr

I know whose been on my friends list. Trust me, you've never been on it. I reject most people because I don't have a bunch a random strangers. The only friends I have on my list are friends in real life and a few old guild mates, where I have left their guild.

We may have done a few FSC runs, I don't remember MANY names...I remember mostly the jerks who kick people (including me) for not doing what they want me to do and not saying that they want.
